Our guesthouse was recently mentioned on a website (onlyinyourstate) as one of the top places to stay in the state of Arkansas.

**** THINGS TO NOTE ****
There are two flights of stairs to the main level, a total of 28 steps (13 + 3 + 12). While about 98% of our guests have had no problem with this and some have actually enjoyed the additional exercise, a few of our guests with knee issues have stated that they wish they had read the description thoroughly.

The Castle by the square is a modern Victorian fit with a turret, a balcony and a roof top terrace located 2 blocks from Bentonville Square. The Guesthouse is within a 5 minute walk from the downtown Square, a whole variety restaurants with different cuisines, 5 coffee shops and a Walmart Neighborhood grocery store. You will be within a 3 minute bike ride from the popular Slaughter Pen trail-head to enjoy mountain biking or choose to hike the beautiful trails around Crystal Bridges.

The Guesthouse has a private garage bay. The garage has bike hooks and a mounted bike maintenance stand. You will have two parking spaces (garage bay and in front of the garage) with an additional spot upon request.

There are two flights of stairs to the living areas. The first flight of stairs leads into a game room with two sleeper sofa beds that open up into double beds and a King bed. This floor has a TV, board games, a wet bar and full bath with a washer and dryer. There is a nice wood bar that can be used as a standing work space or a place to house drinks and snacks.

The next flight leads to the main living area with two bedrooms, the kitchen and a balcony. This floor is the main living space. Natural light fills this room that houses a farm island/table, great for family gatherings. A full kitchen is available to make home cooked meals. There is a balcony right off the kitchen with ample seating to enjoy local morning coffee that is provided. There is also a grill on the balcony to do some outdoor cooking. Two private bedrooms, one with an en suite are located on this floor as well. USB outlets in every room for charging electronic devices.

After this floor, there's a final set of stairs that lead to a rooftop terrace to hang out at. The roof top terrace is a great place to do your sun salutations or chat the night away as the sun sets.

Guest access:
Access to the Guesthouse is via the Gate on the left side of the leftmost garage bay. The entry code will be provided before your arrival. There are two parking spots provided, one in the leftmost garage bay and the second spot behind that bay. A third spot can be made available on request.

    For the same price as a high end hotel, I expected better. 1. Couldn't get the garage door opener to work. 2. Path to the door is stepping stones, no sidewalk, so prepare to carry your luggage. 3. Unwashed dirty towels in the laundry (assume from the previous guest) 4. Clean laundry in the dryer. 5. No place to unpack your clothes, no dressers, no shelves in the bedrooms, just a closet to hang things. 6. No space around the sink for toiletries. 7. The sink is set under the medicine cabinet, so you can't shave with your face over the sink, so water goes on the floor. 8. No desk area to catch up on work. 9. The island has no plug ins, so it's not a useful work area either. 10. You can sleep 10 in the unit, but don't try to gather 8 adults to sit down and chat. 2nd floor room is divided and the couches all point to the TV. On the third floor, the seating area is as tight as a restaurant booth. Everyone has to get up when any one needs out. 11. Third floor seating (when it's just two) doesn't lend to watching TV. 12. Had to call the host to find a broom (was locked away). 13. No extra paper towels without calling the host. 14. Outdoor patios weren't cleaned. (Even though it was 50 degrees in December). 15. Blinds should be added as I was visible to all walking to the kitchen at night. 16. The blinds that existed were cut the width of the window and then hung on the outside of the window well. They should be hung inside, when cut that small to keep the daylight out.

    This location is perfect to walk to soooo many places. Our family loved the convenience and the whole town. Really lovely host and great restaurants in town. We breakfasted at home daily then enjoyed other meals out. We highly recommend this vrbo!!

    Great property with amazing location. The place was perfect size for 3 friends on a MTB getaway. Big kitchen, nice bathrooms, clean, and comfortable beds. Has a cool 3rd story deck for post-ride beers and story telling. Garage repair stand and back garden wash station. Short rides to Slaughter Pen and Coler. Shorter walk to downtown for dinner evening activities.

    Property couldn’t be better placed to enjoy everything Bentonville has to offer within walking distance. Trails, museum, restaurants, etc. The property is a little unique, but the description is totally accurate. Just read it so that there are no surprises. We had a great stay!

    We loved staying here! The location to the square and biking could not be better. The house was big enough for everyone to have their own space. There is an incredible roof deck. It made for a wonderful weekend.

    This property was perfect for my friends & I. Great location, beautiful property. The owners made the whole experience so easy. The house was clean, lots of space & great location. It was close to the square too which was very nice. Highly recommend staying here if you need a nice, fun location for family or friends.
