This well-appointed lakehouse features two floors that offer privacy and comfort. The main floor includes a primary King bedroom and two Queen bedrooms, all accompanied by a hall full-bath. The lower level features a den with a large flat-screen TV, an additional bathroom, a laundry room, and direct access to the dock, all while providing beautiful views of the lake.

Castaway`s treasure extends to its sunroom, providing intimate seating areas off the kitchen for leisurely mornings with coffee. The upper deck is an outdoor haven with a patio table, grill area, and several seating options, allowing you to savor both lake views and the vibrant activities at the dock.

House Rules for Your Stay

Responsible Renter: You must be at least 25 years old to rent the property. Proof of age may be requested. A parent or legal guardian must accompany guests under this age.

Occupancy Limit: The property is strictly limited to the number of guests specified in your reservation, as listed in the house advertisement (ages 2 and above). This maximum occupancy cannot be adjusted. Exceeding this limit is a breach of contract and may result in immediate eviction.

Pets Policy: Only dogs are allowed in approved pet-friendly homes with a paid fee. All pets must be leashed and under control at all times. Emotional support animals are not permitted unless explicitly authorized in writing with a fee.

No Parties or Events: The property is for residential use only. Parties, events, or loud gatherings are not permitted and may result in immediate eviction.

Quiet Hours: To maintain a peaceful environment, please keep noise levels to a minimum between 10 PM and 8 AM. Respect the neighbors’ right to quiet enjoyment.

Trash Disposal: Guests must remove all trash upon departure and dispose of it in the designated facility. The cleaning fee covers routine cleaning only and does not include additional cleanup.

Property Respect and Maintenance: Report any maintenance needs immediately to ensure a prompt resolution. Treat the home as your own; any damages or excessive mess may result in additional charges. Please return all furnishings to their original positions upon checkout.

    The house is really nice with a mild walk down to a very large and nice dock. Lots of deer around the property and a short driving distance to multiple places to get groceries. Note to future guests - the house has a weird mix of 8 kitchen items you probably dont need 8 of but then only 1 spatula hah. So id bring a small set of your favorite kitchen items.

    It was very good and we enjoyed it. We did have issue with coffee maker and there was no toaster but resy was great. Might ba a good idea to have a few cayaks available.

    The house was perfect for our family. A great slope down to the water, just what you need in the kitchen and beds were comfortable. Deep water at the dock was great!

    We booked this property on fairly short notice as a getaway for Independence Day week. This was our first time visiting Smith Mountain Lake. The house and location were absolutely perfect for our family of four and our dog! The house was very clean and comfortable. It's located in a deep no wake cove on Smith Mountain Lake close to Parkway Marina. Being able to dock our boat at the boathouse located on the property made boating very convenient. The house had three bedrooms and a full bath upstairs as well as a full bath downstairs and a large daybed. The back yard is a hill that leads down to the boathouse. While staying at the property we enjoyed boating on the lake, horseback riding at Spring Valley Farm, and taking a sightseeing airplane ride with Smith Mountain Lake Aviation located just up the road from the property. Overall, we had a relaxing and memorable time and can't wait to stay at this property again!
