Cascadilla House, Stunning 3 Br home in CB South

Great trip

The house is very nice and clean. We found most things we needed except for Kleenex, aluminum foil and more soap but otherwise it was perfect. Beautiful views and nice deck to end our day on. We loved it!

The house is very nice & comfortable and well stocked. We stayed with another couple and we each had plenty of privacy. Huge couch for everyone to watch TV, great deck with grill and outdoor table. I would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay, perfect layout for our family (we have teenagers). Nice to give everyone their own space and bathroom!

Negatives: house gets very hot in the afternoons and has very little privacy. The back wall faces west and is almost entirely windows, with half of them having no blinds. This basically bakes everything inside like cookies in an oven once the sun starts west. It’s not only uncomfortably hot, it is so bright in spots you have to cover your eyes when you walk through. It works its way from the kitchen through the living room each afternoon, making hanging out on the main floor no fun for about 4-5 hours. Forget about enjoying time on the deck, at the dining room table, or on the couch during this time. The master also gets hot because it’s on the top floor and there is no ceiling fan. There are also no blinds for the windows that run along the entire southern wall in master. Full moon? Bright as day all night until the sun shows up and it is…bright again. Also, you’ll need to get dressed in the master bathroom if you’d like to not show all of your business to the houses up on the hill that can see right in the windows, especially after the sun goes down. The downstairs bedrooms are nice and cool and have blinds so we all slept down there. Last weird thing: a window IN the downstairs shower that has…you guessed it, no blinds. Positives: mornings/nights on back deck, house was spotless, great management company, location is great.

We enjoyed our time at the Cascadilla house in CB South. We frequent the CB / Gunnison area once a year and try different VRBOs. This one was very nice. Spacious, even though we did not use the basement level. Very comfortable with great views. We even heard elk bugling at night. The shower has great water pressure. Only complaint was the coffee pot was slow and coffee was not hot. Highly recommend for location, cleanliness, and spaciousness.

The Cascadilla House was very comfortable and clean! The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed the fall colors in view from the house. We hope to visit again!

Arrived just after check in and everything was clean and orderly. Expectations regarding our stay and check out were clear and expected. Our visit was all about checking off some mountain bike rides and hanging out afterwards. Grateful for the kitchen utensils, etc. and the propane grill. It was also nice to have some space in the garage to store our bikes. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

You are not going to find a better location in the Created Butte. Location allowed for easy access to great hiking while still providing the enjoyment of local flavor of the mountain town. I’d recommend to any and all, whether hiking, biking, or skiing, it is a A+ location. Managing staff was responsive and extremely informative making the stay stress free. Thank you.

My family of 5 enjoyed our stay in crested Butte. We played games, went on bike rides, hiked Mount Emmons , attended the outdoor mass, ate at secret pizza, went to the farmers market, and had dinner on the back porch. Great trip!!!

House was very nice with no complaints at all. Only few items. I believe it made mention of having cable tv, it did not. It had Netflix and Apple TV but it was logged into owners log ins so seemed odd. Suggestion to add some blinds in master bedroom as got very bright soon as sun came up.
