Casa Tres Dragones, The Ultimate in Luxury

Casa Tres Dragones is located in the heart of Centro -- two blocks from Santa Lucia, two blocks from Santa Ana and five blocks from the main square. Decorated with first class furnishings and art, it represents the highest standard of living. For people who demand the best when they travel.

With soaring colonial beamed ceilings, original pasta tile and tall cedar doors, Casa Tres Dragones retains the colonial charm that makes Merida homes magical but has been updated with all modern conveniences. Restored by an acclaimed local architect, it has over 525 square meters of living space and includes 5 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms. It has been featured in the Mexican edition of Architecture Digest and on the annual Merida house tour.

The first room you enter is a bar, decorated with a towering art display with a loteria game theme and complete with multiple wine refrigerators, a beer tap and ice maker. The bar is made out of hammered copper imported from Michoacan. The art in the bar is entirely sourced from Mexico. Next to the bar is an entertainment room with theater-style seating and a variety of art works from some favorite movies and television shows and a 75 flat screen tv. The kitchen is a fully equipped chef's kitchen with a 6 burner stove and all the equipment you could desire to make gourmet meals. The dining room table is a massive live-edge table, which is 1 meter x 3 meters large and seats 10 or more very comfortably. The two bedrooms on the first floor of the restored house featured hanging king-sized beds -- a combination of the hammock and a mattress bed that sway softly as you sleep (they feel like a cruise ship or a baby's cradle, but have the comfort of a mattress).

The back casita is newly constructed and includes the master bedroom, a fully equipped private gym and a guest master bedroom upstairs. The ensuite master bathroom features a hammered copper bathtub and sinks. On the patio is a huge charcoal grill with a smoker. For people wanting to stay healthy while on vacation, the home includes a large pool long enough for swimming laps.

The fifth bedroom and ensuite bathroom is on the second floor of the restored house and is accessible through a spiral staircase. There are two laundry rooms, one off of the patio area and one next to the 5th bedroom. The fifth bathroom is accessible from the gym and the patio and is decorated in an underwater theme.

Most of the art and furniture in Casa Tres Dragones was custom-made for the home from local artisans and artists. Each room is spacious and the house is equipped with all the modern conveniences and has a beautiful and open flow throughout the property.

The guests will be able to access the entire home, with the exception of the office and certain storage areas.

This property includes one private parking spot.
We provide you with a chef's kitchen and top-of-the-line appliances including a Jura coffee machine so that you can fuel up with a satisfying breakfast to start your day. Coffee, creamer and sugar is provided -- no need to run to the nearest mini-mart for these basics. Also, every stay includes four free beers so you start start your vacation immediately upon arriving.

Don't worry if you forgot your shampoo because all bathrooms are equipped with their own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Hi-speed wifi is available throughout the house. Cable and Netflix access is provided. The house is equipped with a speaker system so you can enjoy your own music throughout the property.

Each stay at Casa Tres Dragones includes daily maid service, pool cleaning three times a week and twice weekly gardening service.

Pet deposit: One small (under 15kg) pet is welcome, but the guest is responsible for all damage caused by their pets. An extra pet fee of $100 will be charged.
