Stayed Feb 6, 2022We had a wonderful week at Casa Tranquilidad, a beautiful, comfortable and well-equipped house. The house is roomy, airy and decorated with a very tasteful eye to the local culture. Situated in beautiful gardens, the house and pool offer cool respite from the heat, without the need for AC (though it is available). Chayo and Rubi are easily at hand if you need anything and Alison, the host, was easily reached through email and very accommodating. On the other hand, we are not sure what you might want that isn't already in place. There are grocery and other shops within a block or two and it's a short walk into the centre of the village where there are a lot of good and great restaurants, more shops, access ocean and lagoon beaches, a scenic malecon etc. We loved both the house and the village of Barra de Navidad and are certain we will return to both.
