Casa Tortuga - tropical getaway & central to many amenities!

What a wonderful property! My husband and I and our 2 dogs stayed for the month of January. The host has thought of everything in this house and we loved it all. The TV's are great, the master bed was comfy and soft. The showers were great! Automatic lights come on for the closets. Outdoor lights on a timer over the back yard so that letting the dogs out a night was easy and we could see them in the fenced in backyard. The pool was wonderful and heated to 86 degrees - great for swimming laps in any weather. We have re-booked for next year already and can't wait. Oh, nice neighborhood and a people/dog walking trail just one house down from ours.

This house is great - clean, conveniently located, well-stocked and the communication with the owner was excellent.

We had a wonderful trip to Sarasota. We went to Siesta Key about 10-15 drive. Stop at Lido Key about 18-20 drive and longboat key about 30 min drive. We went to the movies and a 5 min ride and saw fireworks at the Marina alps about 5 min. Great location great host! We really enjoyed the house and pool as well.

Handsome, comfortable house. Great outdoor space - particularly the swimming pool. Close to everything - particularly nice restaurant.

Enclosed porch and outside areas were great. Living room furniture and outdoor cushions can use an update.

We had an amazing time and what a lovely home. Not only is it decorated beautifully and charming, the beds were so comfortable! The backyard space was so unexpected, it’s prettier than the pictures. The host communicated great throughout the process. I’ve stayed at a lot of rentals throughout the years and this is definitely very high up on my list.

This was a yearly get together. The house location overall was good. Perhaps not walking distance to some places of interest (eg. Armand circle, downtown) but an easy drive. Having cold weather was a bit of a drag as it became more of an inside than outside weekend (eg .did not use the putting area outside and did not sit in the sun by the pool).

Four of us were celebrating our 58th college reunion. The house was very roomy and appointed well. The TV was a Roku with streaming platforms - very enjoyable.

The house was welcoming with lots of options for activities. We enjoyed the quiet residential neighborhood, private pool, and putting green. We definitely will book again!!
