Casa Orazio: A cozy and welcoming independent house situated a few minutes from the town center, with Free WI-FI.

What an amazing experience with Davide. Communication with the booking agency was incredibly smooth. They were prompt in their replies and checked in frequently to ensure our process went smoothly. Unbelievable property. Clean, great view, and close to everything in Positano (if you are willing to go up and down many, many stairs). If you are staying in Positano, Davide is an excellent host with many helpful suggestions and stories from his history and the history of Positano.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The apartment was as expected from the photos. The bedroom was comfortable and the living room was spacious for the 3 of us. Although it was quite a few steps to get to the beach, it was lovely and peaceful where we were and we actually preferred that.

OMG, I have nothing but great things to say about this apartment! Davide & Titina are the most wonderful/caring hosts we've ever had. Davide communicates fairly well in English and we enjoyed his tales of growing up in Positano, as well, watching him take such pride in his garden. We got to enjoy fresh tomatoes and basil from his garden and told us to help ourselves whenever we wanted. If you have mobility issues, it might be a tad difficult for you to manage the 75 stairs leading up to the apt from the road. Davide, even at 87, insisted on carrying my carry-on suitcase up the stairs when we checked-in, he's such an inspiration to us all. We loved sitting on the terrace and not only is the view spectacular, but it gets shade in the afternoon. When we got tired of the crowds down around the beach/pier, we would take the Interno Positano bus back up and sit on the terrace enjoying our lunch/dinner & cocktails. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals, only thing missing is a toaster. The bed is 2 singles put together and was very comfortable. There is a lot of closet and dresser space for your clothes. I guess the only negative thing I would mention is, the road below can be fairly noisy with scooters zipping around, so bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Again, this has to be one of the best places we've ever rented and Davide made it even more special. I highly recommend renting this place if you don't mind being higher up in Positano.

Staying at Casa Orazio will give you the most authentic and lovely Positano experience. Davide, our host, was kind and helpful in getting us settled and giving us a few insights and suggestions. The home is clean and spacious with a gorgeous sea view from the sizeable terrace. There are plenty of amenities to enjoy a cup of coffee at home in the morning or prepare a meal as well. Although the number of stairs you will scale daily is daunting, we loved being away from the tourist traps near town center and the docks because it allowed us to branch out by trying some different restaurants and markets. I would surely recommend this spot to anyone for a stay in Positano, and would personally return for a stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The caretaker was a beautiful man who kindly shared fresh vegetables from his garden with us. The location is quite high up and to get to the beach is about 500 steps, apart from that, it was a beautiful place and lovely neighbourhood.

Our one-week stay at Casa Orazio was wonderful. The house is just as described on the Summer In Italy website. The views from the living room, bedroom and terrace are great. The kitchen is well-equipped and fully functional. The bed and furniture are comfy, the heating works well, and we never felt cramped for space. The house is very close to Chiesa Nuova and to the trail-head (stairs) on Via Corvo for the sentiero that ascends the slope to Santa Maria del Castello. It is a lovely 45-minute walk on Via Corvo to reach Montepertuso. There is a bus stop on the road directly below the house (75 steps down) so you can get to Piazza dei Mulini in less than 10 minutes. Or you can walk there in 10 minutes if you are OK with steps. I walked up from Piazza dei Mulini to the house several times using the stairs, it takes 10-15 minutes. Davide was an excellent host, helping us arrange for baggage transportation from the ferry pier and providing directions so we could reach the house using the Positano Interno bus. He also guided us on our first trip to the nearby small grocery store Non Solo Frutta Positano which provided everything we needed for meals at home. It's 5 minutes' walk, 70 stairway steps up and down. Summer In Italy provided good communication and service, and the best vacation rental that met our needs at a reasonable price.

Great views, easy check-in, very nice place with good amenities. Right by the bus stop if you are busing from the beach although the walk isn’t too bad.

Amazing view of Positano! We loved our stay here and would recommend. Apartment is nice and spacious with all amenities and the balcony view is beautiful! Note there are a lot of stairs if you are planning to walk to the beach/town centre but there are buses available with bus stops very close to the apartment. To get to the apartment you also need to walk up stairs so pack lightly. We walked everywhere and loved our time here. :)
