We stayed here with our college-age kids. Very comfortable home with gorgeous views and beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed being able to walk down the road to the local beach. It's a rocky beach but beautiful swimming hole -- less crowded than other beaches in the area and much less expensive to rent sunbeds, etc. We were here in August and the home is well airconditioned. The host was very helpful. It was easy to take day trips to Pompeii and Naples, and there are restaurants nearby. As many reviews say, there are lots of stairs to get up to the apartment, but there is an elevator for the luggage. (But would not recommend if you are not comfortable with stairs.) We had a great stay!
Giada was wonderful and saved this trip for us! The property is just not up to par with other experiences with rentals. The cleanness of the property’s and inside was very concerning. Ants were within the house and all over couch throughout our stay. Supplies we’re very limited and lacking. It is a fair walk to the market and an expensive cab ride to Sorrento.
Not enough pillows or blankets, bed so hard we slept on couch, hardly any water stream in shower or hot water. Took us lAdies an hour to wash hair with stream.
Pros: This property had beautiful views overlooking the Bay of Naples and magnificent sunsets. The bathrooms looked as though they had been recently remodeled, as they were modern and stylish. This property also felt quite private. Cons: Upon arrival, the exterior of the villa was very dusty and lots of dead, dry leaves littering the stairs and patios and was uninviting to guests. There was a very strong chemical smell in the villa that did not dissapate. The kitchen cookware and dishware provided was very old and looked very worn and unclean. The apartment was not deep cleaned - floors were dirty and bugs (living and dead) were found throughout - including drain flies in the showers. Washing machine was dirty and we found mold on the back of the TV. The elevator was not operational upon arrival, so we never used it. We were not given keys to the property until the 2nd day of our stay. The A/C was not working until the afternoon of the 2nd day of our stay. We slept with the windows open and club music from a local hotel or nigtclub played loud music until 2:00 am. The local roosters woke us promptly at 5:00 am. Everything within this villa seemed old, tired and worn out. The bathroom finishes seemed new, but needed to be deep cleaned - as did the entire interior and exterior of the villa.
Tolle geräumige Unterkunft mit herrlicher Terrasse und Blick in den Golf von Neapel. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge auf der Sorrentiner Halbinsel-spektakuläre Wanderungen und Bootsausflüge
Everything was great, the sunset from the balcony were better then the picture show. And everyone was helpfull and very kind about all our questions.
