Casa Madalena - Large Secluded Beachfront Home with Private Pool & Direct Beach Access

The home has a great layout, stocked with good appliances and cooking accessories. Unfortunately, the home owners, allows pets, but have rugs under furniture, and the rugs reap of pet urine, we had to roll up the rugs and put in spare bedroom (disgusting), and we hoped this would take care of the terrible smell of urine, unfortunately the urine had settled into the hardwood floors and by moving the rugs, the smell was worse due to the rugs disguising the odor from underneath. We had to leave doors open at night, horrible experience. We were charged a hefty pet charge, and for what?? Such a disgusting experience. I have many photos that I shared with property rental company. I was not pleased with the response. I did not want any money back, I just wanted them to correct the problem for future guests, not a good response from them. Think twice before staying at this home.

Excellent property and nicely designed floor plan with tasteful interior decoration. Recommend renting directly from 5 Star Properties for a more personal experience and service.

My family of 10 celebrated my retirement at this beautiful location, which is even nicer than described. We had a grand time together in this beautiful home.

We had a great family vacation, kids were a little disappointed about the red flags but had the pool to back it up also enjoyed bike rides. Definitely would do this again. Coffee shop across the road was a plus also. The house was amazing.

One of our favorite homes so far! Had the absolute best spot on the beach - kept us from having other people on top of us. The home was very clean and well-kept. Loved the layout and the yard for the dog. Pool was on the small side, but the kids still enjoyed it when they were tired of the ocean. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Casa Madalena is a beautiful home ideal for a large family. The location is perfect and the beach views are phenomenal! It doesn’t get much better for a family beach vacation!!!

The house is beautiful and right on the beach. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and tableware. The house was super clean. The deck area is so nice with what looked like new decking; the rails were new. The pool is small, but very nice. There is a fee to have it heated, but it was worth it for an April stay. I recommend that you bring additional washcloths, as the towel bundles provided only have one. I would definitely stay here again.

This house is in excellent condition and was really clean when we checked in. Centrally located by a coffee shop, restuarant, and gift shop, and the beach of course :). We had 8 people staying at one time and could have easily fit more. All bedrooms are a good size and several have individual patios overlooking the beach. This house is just mind blowing! Definnately book it!

the home was well appointed and very comfortable. Views were amazing from every room. I loved being only steps from the sand.
