Stayed Sep 29, 2025We absolutely loved our week here. The authenticity and history of the place added to our experience really positively. Our favourite place was on the balcony drinking coffee and reading, listening to all the local sounds and the birds and taking in the incredible views. We stayed local, mostly exploring the incredible stairways and alleyways, and we took a bus to Perogola and walked down the beautiful staircase back to the apartment. We loved kayaking, and walking over the top to Atrani. A brilliant experience and we would love to go back!!!

Stayed Sep 22, 2025This apartment was even more lovely than on the website! The balcony had the most amazing views which changed with the lighting, and had an awning for when the heat was intense. We loved the large bathroom raindrop shower with feature bench and tiles. Basilia made us very welcome and explained the fascinating history of the building. We took the bus to Pogerola and walked down the steps back to the convent, explored the amazing stepways and alleyways behind the cathedral to get to Atrani, kayaked along the coast and took a day trip to Capri. It was always nice returning to our quaint little apartment high above the bustle of Amalfi. We particularly appreciated the historic side of Amalfi as a port, with ancient fortifications and paper making industry (although we missed out on the museum as you have to book 2 days in advance). All in all, we LOVED the vibe in Amalfi and found staying amongst Amalfians to be most refreshing and pleasant.

Stayed Apr 12, 2025What a sweet host/owner, Basilia, was. She was so kind and had by far the most detailed information guide/packet I’ve seen. The ONLY downfall is the hill to get to the apartment then the steps to get up to your apartment. We aren’t young but we aren’t old and it was tough. If that is of issue, please consider somewhere else. If not, you won’t find a better view and host in Amalfi.
