The downstairs living room boasts 11-feet ceilings with a split unit A/C. A stunning open plan with two spacious sitting-conversation areas and an oversized rustic dining table with seating for up to 10 guests, creating a perfect setting for both entertaining or relaxing. The leather sofa converts to a queen-sized bed for additional guests. A contemporary kiva-inspired fireplace flanks one of the sitting areas, while two double sets of French doors lead to a private outdoor patio complete with gas grill, dining table and seating areas. Numerous large picture windows surround the room, providing pleasant views of the tree-lined lane on one side and a terraced landscape on the other; wooden shades provide privacy when desired. A gourmet chef`s kitchen just of this living room is completely outfitted with premium appliances and all the cookware, tableware, bake ware, barware, and utensils needed to prepare everything from a casual snack to a full holiday meal. Behind the kitchen, a small laundry/utility room complete with full-sized washer and dryer leads to an internal entrance to the one-car garage (for vehicles medium-size or smaller) A convenient half bath is located next to the front hall stairway.
Upstairs, both bedrooms feature all the comforts of home: plush, king-sized beds, nightstands with reading lamps, flat screen televisions, and air conditioning, while the windows in each room offer gracious views of the surrounding tree tops. The master suite also includes a walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom with double vanities, a shower, and a large soaking tub. Finally, a French door opens onto a large, private sundeck with conforable seating for 6 where you can take in the stunning views of the surrounding hills and trees. An additional full bathroom sits next to the second bedroom.

This beautiful house is about a 15-20 minute walk to downtown Santa Fe. It was clean, spacious, and had a well stocked kitchen. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the hot tub was great.
After visiting Santa Fe before and staying further from downtown, this property and location is absolutely incredible. The house has all the creature comforts one could ever want, and every trip we did over the week took anywhere from 4 to 11 minutes to drive to, or 15-25 minutes to walk. Only critique was that each text communication with the office typically didn't get a response until more than 24 hours later, which seems strange given they were simple requests. Regardless, we LOVED this place!
Prime location in Santa Fe! Walking distance to Canyon Road & Downtown & 30 minute drive to scenic Ski Santa Fe/National Forest. Very nice area/property and we would definitely stay here again - with some caveats. The home could use some major TLC/updating. The only couch in living room is old & long overdue for replacement. Is leather, hard as a rock, has staining on leather back/cushions, no cushioning left in any of the seat cushions & extremely uncomfortable. All woven blinds on French doors throughout home are in dire need of replacement & are a pain (if not impossible) to open & close. Fridge ice-in-door feature not functioning & indicator also says filter needs replacing (not critical but for โholiday rental priceโ we paid to stay here, we expected it to work). Gas convection oven feature also not working since fan in oven appears to be broken (inside of oven also needs major deep cleaning). Cabinet doors under kitchen sink are sagging & do not close properly (due to messed up hinges). No sink strainer or disposal cap in kitchen sinks, so we bought some & donated to property? Suggest that guests also bring or purchase their own firewood if you plan to use fireplace as none is provided. My husband also observed heavy creosote build-up in chimney when he was starting up first fire in fireplace, so good cleaning of fireplace/chimney is also needed. We were 2 adults and slept in Master BR (did not ever use other upstairs BR/bath during our stay). King size bed was very comfortable, and Sun patio off of Master offered stunning views at sunset. Master bathroom has potentially lethal (tall) tile step up into Master bathroom & needs some sort of safety markingโฆsame for downstairs utility room. Contrary to property description, there are no working audio speakers outside or inside that we could find? Hot tub was an added feature but small & only comfortable for party of 2. Parking in front is on a skinny gravel road that leads to next door property ownerโs home with signage restricting how far up drive you can park (*attached garage is inaccessible to renters). Was somewhat of a challenge parking our rental SUV in the designated space against railing, in order to allow enough space for other homeowner to get by. Despite everything indicated here, we enjoyed our stay of 4 nites/5 days during Christmas, 2022, and if the items mentioned above were addressed it would have been a much more pleasing & guest-friendly stay.
