Stayed Jan 18, 2026The property was very nice and home was spacious for the 6 of us. Only disappointed that photos and description didn’t match real life bc I did copious research to make sure the 3BR house had beds suited for 3 teen girls, 1 teen boy, and 2 adults. Descriptions said all 3BR’s had a queen bed AND two of the BR’s had an additional single bed. In real life, one room had 2 singles and 2 rooms had one queen each. Also dining room not look the same in real life as in photos bc chairs are wooden - not green. The property manager was very communicative and offered a full refund to find another place to stay - which we did not have time to do bc we had to get ourselves ready for a bday dinner rez that eve. Ultimately, they made up for the prob by giving me a monetary credit back to my card. So I appreciate that. Hopefully they will update their listing. They advertise it sleeps 10. Also - for a house that sleeps 10, the living space is a little small for hanging out. Only 4 can fit on couch, and the rest would have to sit in 6 wooden chairs from dining room.

Stayed Dec 6, 2025Our stay at this property was overall average. The host’s communication was timely, accurate, and very helpful throughout the booking and check-in process, which we truly appreciated. However, the cleanliness of the home did not meet our expectations. Several areas felt like they could have been more thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. Additionally, the interior décor did not fully match what was shown in the listing photos, which was a bit disappointing and made the space feel different than anticipated.

Stayed Sep 14, 2025Mai was great to work with. I had a few suggestions and she said she would pass it along to the owner of the property. The location was good and seemed to be in a nice area. We were only in Richmond for one night .I planned to cook dinner. The kitchen to me did not have enough cookware to make dinner, but I made it work. The kitchen could have been cleaner upon arrival, but the bathroom was clean. The stairs need a handrail installed. If you are planning a trip to include going to Maymont, go next year. The main feature home is being renovated and was closed. Thank uou Mai for being a great host.

Stayed Aug 31, 2025Awesome communication and check in process with owner. However, there were a lot of negatives:-No outlet covers next to kids beds in bedroom.-The blinds had broken pieces, and a lot of light came through. Even without the blind cracks, the blinds are not enough to block the street lights all night. As a result, I couldn't get our kids to sleep until very late. Almost two hours past bedtime, unfortunately! I would recommend adding blackout curtains to the bedrooms. -The bathtub stopper didn't work and I couldn't give my kids a bath. Maybe add a flat plastic stopper in the future? -The rooms were dusty near the beds. The kids were playing hide and seek, and they were moving it around.-The biggest issue was the fire alarm. I think the batteries died? It was SUPER loud and woke us up every 30mins starting at 11pm until about 2am. It sounded like a fire alarm was about to start every time. We eventually had to take it down to stop waking up the family. -It was very hot in the bedrooms, even with all fans going. Could only feel the AC in the hallway. Finally, when we reached out to give our feedback independently, there was a no formal apology. Just a simple canned, thanks for your feedback. That's disappointing after sharing feedback about a very restless night.
