Stayed Dec 23, 2022I stayed here for the Christmas holiday with my mom and dog. The house was clean, and the location was great. There were a few things that were different than expected; since I was traveling with my older dog, it was challenging for me to get her up and down the stairs into the house. It is no fault of the house; just letting people know if you have an older dog that can't do stairs, this is a challenge. The next issue was in the bathroom downstairs. They had one of those auto-lights that comes on when you walk in; the problem was while my elderly mom was taking a shower, it kept turning off, and she was in the dark. There are no windows, so it's completely dark when it goes off. She almost fell, trying to get out of the shower. A sign said to leave the door open for the light to stay on, but that didn't work. The downstairs was small, and since neither my mom nor my dog could climb the stairs, they couldn't go upstairs to the larger area. Finally, the house was very cluttered; there was so much furniture in the downstairs living room you could barely move. Overall, it was a nice home and a good location. The house can easily accommodate two couples or a family with kids, as long as you can do the stairs. It was clean and quiet, so that was a plus.

Stayed Nov 3, 2022We came up for a weekend wedding. This rental was the perfect location from downtown and the Biltmore where the wedding was located. The house was clean and the weather was beautiful. Would definitely recommend and return!

Stayed Mar 15, 2019Six adults stayed here for the Asheville Half Marathon (in the Biltmore) and it was the prefect place! The two living spaces gave us room to spread out and we enjoyed the deck in the afternoons. House was spotless and adorably decorated. Easy drive to the Biltmore and downtown Asheville.

Stayed Jan 1, 2019Stayed here 4 nights as a home base while we took a driving tour through the southern Appalachians (Brevard, Hendersonville, Maggie Valley, Murphy, Weaverville...and over to Gatlinburg TN, Pigeon Forge TN, and south to Greenville SC). House is conveniently located to catch various highways that lead in all directions. We didn't spend too much time in Asheville proper, other than eating dinner at restaurants after driving all day. The house is clean (except for a couple nitpicky items mentioned below) and well furnished/appointed. Linens and towels are fresh (they aren't old nor threadbare). We couldn't park in the garage as the owners have their car stored there, but the driveway is adequate and could accommodate the length of the Suburban we rented. Some suggestions for the rental agency and/or owner: * Master shower doesn't drain *Master shower curtain liner has a touch of mold and needs to be bleached or replaced *Bathroom and kitchen floor mats need to be laundered. *Please upgrade the paper goods that you supply (toilet paper and paper towels) to decent household grade (the commercial grade products you have are pretty terrible). Please also stock Kleenex in the bathrooms - we had to purchase a couple boxes for our short stay and ended up discarding nearly-full boxes when we left. These two suggestions might cost a few extra dollars on your end but it shows that you're considering the comfort of your guests. :) *The back deck needs to be swept and tidyed to remove all the fall leaves and debris. Overall, we felt the rate was reasonable and would recommend the home to friends. The rental agency has great customer service and provided plenty of information prior to and during our stay.

Stayed Jul 27, 2018We had a wonderful stay. The house was large enough for our group. Four beds, pull out sofa and a roll away bed. The master is large with a generous bathroom. All of the beds were comfortable as everyone had a solid rest before our tournament. There is also an upper and lower living room with plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to to make dinner and enjoy at the table with seating for 6. The grill on the large back deck was a plus with ample seating. The house is conveniently located about 10 mins from downtown Asheville. The driveway was wet because there is water seeping up from the black top. This was not a big deal but the owners may want to look into it so it does not progress into a bigger problem.

Stayed Jul 17, 2018Family vacation and first time to visit Asheville from Texas. Loved the home - new, clean, very, very nice!! 3/3 bath was perfect for a family of 5! The location was close to downtown Asheville and Chimney Rock State Park and also the Blue Ridge Parkway. Would definitely recommend this home and location if you are visiting the Asheville area!
