Carolina Dream: Oceanfront, Pool, Spa, Rec Room

This is a lovely house! We particularly enjoyed the fireplace and all of the great gathering spaces. The kitchen is nice and large and easy for a bunch of people to cook in, tho was missing key elements like cutting boards and pot holders- probably just needs to be restocked after a busy season! We loved the hot tub, too, but were a little disappointed that it wasn't very hot. Temp read 101, and wouldn't go higher, but it wasn't really 101. Overall a great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Carolina Dream. The views were incredible, and we loved having our own access to the beach! There was room for everyone (13 of us), and the elevator and accessible bathroom were perfect for my husband's grandmother. The Village Realty staff was very responsive and friendly. I would rent again for sure!

The location of the cottage is excellent and view of the ocean is superb. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, etc... Office staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the hot tub stopped heating two times during our stay, the fireplace never worked and the pool was closed / heating turned off the weekend we arrived. Maintenance fixed the hot tub the first time we called, however when we went to enjoy it the evening before leaving, the water was cold again. We had been assured two times that we would be called by the fireplace vendor for repair, however this never happened. Not being able to enjoy the three main amenities of the home proved very disappointing. Items noted but not reported while at the home were numerous bulbs burnt out in bathrooms, a slow draining sink, broken chair on upper deck, dead batteries in remote controls, fans in living room in need of cleaning as do the fronts of kitchen cabinets. The cover for the hot tub is VERY difficult to remove and drops pieces of styrofoam in the water.

Great house, Great weather, Great friends!! We look forward all year to our beach trip, we always book the same house. It's perfect for our group. Village Realty is a class act and top notch!

Wonderful house!! LOVED the extra seating area in the main living room, allowed everyone to hang out together on the same floor. Also loved the mid level den for the gamers in the family!!! Only complaints....There were no small to medium pots in the house and there were TONS of flies. We will be back next year!!!

We loved the house and thought the design was really great with the upside down set up. The upper deck was totally comfortable as was the midlevel deck off the bedrooms. We didn't like having to roll the garbage cans to the street, the one-ply scratchy toilet paper, no plastic wrap or foil in the house (we had to buy it). All in all, the house was extremely comfortable and was conveniently located. Everything worked except the ice maker in the refrigerator but that was no problem as the house had a stand alone icemaker at the bar area. Our grand kids thought it was the best house we had stayed in! They loved the house!

We love Carolina Dream we have stayed here twice, it suits our family we have 5 children 1 of which is in a wheelchair. The only problems we had are we found medicines in and under the couch and birds in the vent hood fan. We hope to stay at Carolina Dream again soon

This is the fourth year we've stayed at this home and we'll be back again next year! We love everything about it - the location, the gathering space and the private baths in most of the rooms. The kitchen is well stocked. The heated pool is a favorite as is the hot tub. The home is the perfect place to get away and feel a bit pampered! Even Jose couldn't take away the joy of the being at the beach!

Our very large family enjoyed a great week here with plenty of space to eat, sleep, hang out and even find some quiet time! The decks were awesome as was the pool area where we spent a lot of our time. The kitchen and bar area were well stocked with every cooking utensil imaginable making it very convenient to feed our large group. Kitchen storage was adequate as well. Only two minor suggestions......more than one broom is needed to keep all the floors swept and more kitchen towels were needed. We never did get the house speakers to play which was a disappointment as it would have been nice to have music at the pool. Overall a great house, we'll definitely look to be back!

Nice house. It was very clean except one pillow case had a blood stain on it. Great items in kitchen except frying pans. They need replacing. Great view of ocean. Nice area for parking. Really enjoyed our stay. Will return and hopefully stay at this house again. Love Village Realty. Nice folks very easy reservation, check in, and check out.
