Fayetteville, West Virginia
Cantrell Station features two cabooses, turned into tiny houses. The property has a large outdoor patio space, small covered patio, charcoal grill, picnic tables, and fire pit. Each caboose has its own bathroom, a private bedroom with a full sized bed, a living area with a futon, and a loft with a twin sized sleeping mattress. There is a mini split air conditioning unit in the center of each caboose to provide heating and cooling.
Only thing to improve is the WiFi. It’s very spotty. No doubt because the rooms are solid metal. Hot water and nearby food. Great location. Felt really peaceful.
Our experience was fantastic! It was very clean, had everything we needed, and was in a great location!! Our teens were even impressed!! We will never forget our vacation stay in the cabooses!
we stayed in both cabooses on the property. my kids loved them and they were super clean and just as seen in the photos. we enjoyed the walking distance to dinner at cantrell's and a weekend of rafting. host had great communication. would definitely stay here again next time we're in fayetteville!
We really enjoyed our first trip to West Virginia! Staying in the caboose was so much fun with my kids. The caboose is located near hiking trails with amazing views, restaurants, and rafting company. While it was too chilly in early April for us to raft, we are going to come back this summer and rent the cabooses with friends to experience white water rafting. We took advantage of the fire pit. The caboose was cozy and super cute. It had everything we needed for the few nights we stayed! Highly recommend staying here. Can’t beat the experience and location!
