Stayed Dec 31, 1969Large, clean home with very nice and private yard. Close to the village and beach. Great place I would recommend to friends.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I just returned from a 3 week stay at Canal Place. The weather was wonderful, the cottage very comfortable and appointed with everything you could ever imagine. The beautiful Siesta Key Beach is a 7 minute walk although I did drive over sometimes in the 5-7Pm hour just because I was lazy and wanted to maximize the quiet time on the beach to read. There is a kayak out the front door and 3 bikes in the back. It's a 7 minute walk in a different direction to the hardware store, grocery/wine store, shops and all of the restaurants. It is a very safe and populated neighborhood but you might want a flashlight if you are walking home after dark. Ali and Rich could not be nicer and more helpful. Book early, these cottage go fast.
