Canal Oasis: Serene Waterside

We enjoyed the house!

The place overall was ok. The overall feel of the home was dingy and outdated, but it was not outright dirty inside. The outside lot was full of trash, broken glass, and animal droppings. The kitchen was small and the only table provided was tiny with flimsy chairs. There are only two bathrooms, the outside shower should not count as it is a glorified water hose. We also had issues during our stay with the electric in one of the bedrooms. The host had an electrician come during our stay and it still did not resolve the issues. We were not happy about a stranger coming in while we were staying there. The communication with the host was not the best about this issue either.

I love how we didn’t have to get anything for the house as in shampoo/dish soap/ laundry detergent. The beds were really comfortable but the bunk beds were a little noisy when you move. Other than that I would stay here again.

Great location, great communication about an issue from previous renters that wasn’t a big deal. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for my family

This slept everyone in our party comfortably. The beds in the bunk room are decently comfortable but they are the squeakiest beds ever so if you have little kids, maybe want to bunk in the king rooms with them if they are light sleepers. Only one outlet in the bunk room was hard for plugging in a fan and charging devices as it’s high on the wall. Other than that, love that there was a well stocked kitchen!! Wish there was an umbrella for some morning shade on the back porch we loved sitting out there!

Perfect place to stay if you are planning to kayak fish the reef. One of the Neighbor came and talk to us two doors down. He was really friendly and was able to upload all of the reefs coordinate on our fish finder. They call him the mayor.

Tyler and Meghan were excellent hosts of their vacation rental in Navarre Beach. My party stayed at their home through the Memorial Day holiday and it was an excellent experience! The house was very clean, all the appliances worked, the seawall was very easy to get in/out of, the AC worked extremely well, the neighbors were very friendly, ans the location is one that you just can’t beat. We’d love to stay again at some point in the future and recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a beach house getaway!!

Long time visitor to Navarre and this house comes with old Florida charm and built to last. The kids and dad, love the canal which provides plenty of things to do when not spending time at the beach. The location....simply doesn't get better, close to the beach while located on the bay. The house has everything you need and is easy to keep clean from the sand and well provisioned. The owners are some of the best people i have rented through over the years-friendly and quick to respond. Great stay for a family of 4.

Wow, we loved this place! The house is just 5 minutes from the beach, we walked there every single day because it was so close. House was stocked with everything you’d need. Washer and dryer were very useful and the outdoor shower was super convenient. We loved the comfy beds. Overall the house was clean, spacious and it has a very relaxed feel which is what we were looking for on our getaway. Tyler & Meghan were super responsive and it was all great. We had Such an amazing time, we’ll be back for sure!
