This is our second time staying at this property and it is perfect. Great location, super clean, excellent communication with property owners. Looking forward to our next visit. A perfect home for a visit to the Cambridge area.
Did an early Christmas with the family from all over. House was quaint and had everything we needed. Great place to cook and have some fun. Woukd be nice in the summer on the water. .
We had 5 adults and 2 children at the house. Sleeping was a bit of a challenge, in that the advertised 5th bed doesn't really exist. We ended up putting the children on a blowup bed (that we brought) in the game room. Also, the second bathroom is in the basement, near the 4th bedroom. That made it difficult to truly share both of the baths among the entire party. All of that said, we had a wonderful stay. The kayaks provided lots of fun on the creek, and the living space indoors was comfortable.
Plenty to keep kids busy here, both indoors and out. And the location is great also. One caveat to the description of the house is that the 4th bedroom AND the 2nd bath are both in an unfinished basement, not near bedrooms 1-3. The 5th sleeping place is really an unfinished garage, at the opposite end of the house. We made it work with 7 adults and 2 children, but it was tricky. The living space is very nice.
Property was convenient to Cambridge and our activities on the Eastern Shore. House was super clean with plenty of hot water and really comfortable couches! Would be great to visit in the warmer weather (we were there in January) and enjoy the enclosed back porch.
This place was terrific for our purposes, and the hosts are very nice and very responsive. It is beautiful inside, has a great sun room, and overlooks a creek/river that is great for kayaking with terrific birds. And there are tons of entertainment options at the house — ping pong, fusbol, darts and games galore, as well as the kayaks, grill and picnic tables.
This was a trip for a few guys getting away for a golf weekend. The place was perfect. VERY clean - even smelled clean walking in. It looks nicely redone. The bedrooms were nice, but the kitchen/living room area, garage/game room, and outdoor areas were where we spent most of our time. Jonathan and Dao were communicative but not intrusively so - just let us know they were there if we needed anything. Stocked kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, cups, utensils) was good for our purposes. All in all we had a great weekend!
Had a great 5 nights at this house. The house is recently renovated inside and was also extremely clean. The creek behind the house is very close, making it easy to go back and forth from the house to the dock. We had a great time kayaking, fishing, and relaxing in the wonderful sun room. We enjoyed the area too as there are many shopping and dining options nearby.
We stayed at this place for three nights. We were able to launch a 21 ft Carolina Skiff boat and tie it to the dock right by the house. We did some fishing on the Choptank River. The kids were delighted to discover that there were three kayaks that where included with the rental. The kids took the Kayaks down Hurst Creek to the sandbar at the Choptank River. The place was clean and looked like it was newly renovated. The neighborhood seemed very friendly. We would like to stay again.
