River Bend Ranch is a private ranch in Durango, Colorado located just five miles (10 minutes) from historic downtown Durango. Our three bedroom, two bath single level cabin is set among the willows and pines on our private trout pond and also features a covered deck with a wood stove.
We are located on the Million Dollar Highway in the Animas Valley on the way to Purgatory Ski Area (20 minutes) and Silverton (50 minutes). Come to River Bend Ranch and enjoy the beauty of the Animas Va

Stayed Oct 17, 2025Pet friendly but very clean! Convenient for hosting infant and toddler during the wedding. Great place to take a break from the festivities. Quiet location. Our family loved waving at the train. We also had excellent views of the hot air balloons!

Stayed Oct 13, 2025We had an amazing time at River Bend Ranch! The family that owns it is so sweet and kind! My husband and sons loved fishing the pond for trout. I loved the view and sitting outside enjoying nature. If you want a place to relax and recharge… this is it! This place did not disappoint!

Was supposed to have 7 quests but it ended up being only 2. There was no compensation for less people

Stayed Sep 22, 2024It’s hard to explain just how wonderful, beautiful and peaceful the whole property is. We wanted to stay where we would see wild game and beautiful scenery of Colorado. God provided it all! The owners are a wonderful family! We are ready to stay there again soon, We live in West Texas and it was so great to find out the owners had family in our area.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was nice and the location is beautiful. I loved being able to fish in my back yard. A few things that would have made the stay better. Air Conditioning! It got up to 90 degrees and it was hard to enjoy the cabin when it's hot.Water filter because he water smelled like blood and turned orange. Basics like salt and pepper and paper towels should be provided. I left some for the next people.Property is right by a busy freeway and Train that blows horn throughout the day. I wasn't bothered too much by it because I live by trains but you should be aware if you are expecting a quiet place.Overall I am satisfied with the stay but probably wouldn't go back without there being some changes.
