Cabin was clean and adequately set up for comfortable furnishing and dining. The surrounding property was unappealing as it was not kept up. The deck was very nice with comfortable furnishings. The stairs from the parking area could be challenging for anyone with weak legs. The biggest negative (only because day tempts were hot) was the inadequate cooling of the interior, especially the master bedroom. Upstairs bedrooms had adequate ac units. The downstairs had an evaporate cooler that kept the main area cool (albeit quite noisy), but could not keep the master bedroom cool. Overall, the cabin was comfortable with minor inconveniences.

Very clean and orderly. Spacious parking and easy to get in and out of the parkinf. I wish there was a dish washer but not a big deal.

My wife and I spent the weekend exploring Yosemite, and when we were done the “Red Door Cabin” was the temporary home we couldn’t wait to get back to. The location was perfect with short drives to the park, downtown Oakhurst, and Mariposa. The cabin had all we needed in a place to stay. It may not have come stocked with all the necessities, but that is not what we base our experience off of. The cabin was cozy and served its purpose. The host kept open communication and was available to answer questions and provided important and detailed formation. We’d definitely return in the future and would gladly recommend to others.

We stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful time at the property. Cozy kitchen and comfortable leather couches to spread out on after long days in Yosemite. The upstairs was perfect for our two kids (10/11) to play in while wife and I stayed downstairs. Upstairs sleeps 4 comfortably and the downstairs queen slept well. Crisp linen for the bedrooms was provided and the kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, and plate ware. We were able to see some shooting stars from the backyard and also caught a deer bedding down for a nap right outside our back window. You will have neighbors here however the area was extremely quiet and peaceful. For Yosemite visitors, just be ready to wake early and get to the southern portal as early as possible. The 13 miles to the entrance is surprisingly long and the valley floor is a solid hour twenty away. That stated, this property was a perfect fit for us and the property owners maintained good communication throughout the rental process. A+, would rent again.

it was good.. Disappointed i the outward appearance of the property. The yard was ot kept up well and the house and structure were in bad need of paint and cleaning. Very ru down appearance. Fortunately the inside is the important part and it did look nice

Great location for family on 4 day trip into Yosemite. 25 minutes from south entrance. Another 55 minutes to Yosemite Valley. 5-7 minutes into Oakhurst for provisions. Bass Lake close also. We did breakfast and dinner at the Cabin each day. Grilled one night. Beds comfortable. AC worked. Clean towels and linens. We felt really good about the place.

Was not impressed, a/c did not keep up with small house, ants, problems with the garbage disposal, and no internet for most of stay. Ended up getting a hotel instead.

We enjoyed the location and cabin. It was perfect for our get a way to Yosemite National park - other than rolling my ankle on the bottom stone step ( but I am clumsy like that). Thank you for sharing it with us

Great location…it was only about a 20 minute drive to the Yosemite NP entrance and only about a 5-7 minute drive into Oakhurst for supplies. Quiet neighborhood and the house was very nice. We would happily recommend it to others.
