This contemporary, light-filled 3BR, 2.5BA home is less than a mile from Lake Mansfield and downtown Great Barrington, with easy access to shops, cafés, trails, and museums. Sleeping Arrangements:
- Bedroom 1: Upstairs level, featuring a king-size bed and a full-size fold-out sofa bed.
- Bedroom 2: Upstairs level, with a queen-size bed and a queen-size fold-out futon.
- Bedroom 3: Upstairs level, furnished with a queen-size bed.
One of the bedrooms can accommodate a Pack and Play, or an inflatable toddler travel bed with safety bumpers. The listing photos display the possible layout options.

The house is in a peaceful neighborhood, so we kindly ask guests to follow standard house rules: no smoking, no parties, and please respect our neighbors.
We provide one propane tank for the BBQ grill or the propane fire table—just let us know in advance if you'd like to use one so we can have it ready for you. Please note that any refills during your stay are the guest’s responsibility.

We traveled with three young kids and couldn’t have dreamed up a better place. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how thoughtfully this home is cared for and how much love the owners have poured into it.The house is immaculately clean, beautifully furnished, and stocked with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable, joyful stay. Our kids were in heaven with all the toys, books, and lawn games—and we especially appreciated the extras like picnic chairs for Tanglewood, beach gear for Lake Mansfield, and cozy spots to unwind, from the swing to the Adirondack chairs.You can feel the warmth and spirit of the family who owns it—it’s not just a rental, it’s a truly special home. Every detail has been considered to make guests feel welcome, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful with local tips.The location is unbeatable: close to town, in a peaceful, picturesque neighborhood perfect for morning walks or evening strolls.We loved every minute and would return in a heartbeat. Stayed Jun 6, 2025The home was in pristine condition. The kitchen is modern and clean and well appointed.Grounds are peaceful in a picturesque setting. The front porch offered comfortable seating and a porch swing that we enjoyed. Just wished we had bug spray . There was nothing else to be on our wish listfor this property had it all. Hosts were attentive and very welcomng.

Stayed Apr 19, 2025We stayed here for 4 nights around Easter weekend and actually felt sad leaving! The house is beautiful and well appointed. Very comfortable furniture from the living room to the bedrooms. Our kids had a great time in the basement with the ping pong table. The outdoor space and the neighborhood were very pleasant with beautiful views of Butternut mountain. Very close proximity to town with shops, restaurants, groceries. We even went to the movies when we were there. We used the fire pit outside in the evenings and the owners provide lots of indoor and outdoor toys and games. Sitting on the porch was wonderful! It was nice to walk the hills of the neighborhood and even met some very pleasant neighbors! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook an Easter roast including a multitude of serving platters. The hosts were very communicative and great to deal with! Of all the VRBO's that we have rented this is one that we started planning ways to get back to before we left!

Stayed Feb 27, 2025We stayed here with 4 adults and 2 kids under 1 and could not have asked for a better experience. They had all of the things we needed for the kids already at the house, plus the location made it easy to hikes around the area and get to town and enjoy all that Great Barrington had to offer. Paul was prompt and communicative and the house was exactly what we were looking for our little getaway.Would definitely stay again.

Stayed Aug 19, 2024My husband and I and our almost 1 year old loved our stay in Great Barrington! The location is amazing- super close (5 min drive) to downtown and has gorgeous views, the neighborhood itself was beautiful. The house was perfect and so clean. The host was so thoughtful- knowing we were traveling with a baby the house was stocked with anything you would need (high chair, bath supplies, toys, etc) and they even offered local babysitters. Would absolutely recommend and can’t wait to come back!
