We weren't there long. The unit was great. Definitely recommend it. Fireplaces were very cool and the view of the lake was excellent.

The house and property were perfect! The view of the lake, quiet neighborhood, and spacious home were excellent for our family. The house was clean and the owner was very courteous. There is a park on the opposite side of the lake which has an awesome playground for kids and easy to walk trails for the entire family. I hope to have an opportunity to return in the future!

Brophy Reflections was a perfect location and space for a girls weekend for 6 women.Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor space to gather. Having the second refrigerator in the lower level was a great bonus. The location is very convenient for getting into Alexandria and traveling around to some local attractions. The view of the lake is lovely and the sunsets were beautiful.As the organizer of the group, I really appreciated the ease of communication with the host.

We really enjoyed our stay on Lake Brophy. The house was great: clean, room for all of us with great water view/access. The beds were very comfortable and the host provided many comforts of home. The back lower-level outdoor area provided seating for dinners with a BBQ grill. If back in the area we will rent again.

Spacious, clean, well stocked. I was able to cook lunch for 8 with no issues. The fishing was great, the beds were comfy, the water pressure in the showers was great. My husband had a great time with the pedal pontoon AND the laundry chute. Great sunsets out the back window. Will definitely book it next year.

We were new to visiting the area and were happy with our choice. The lake is a little smaller than some in the area, but was perfect for some floating and relaxing. It was so nice to be able to use the dock to leave the boat in for the weekend. Everyone in the group said the beds were all very comfortable as were the pillows. It had everything we needed with nice amenities, including the kayak and extra lifejackets if needed. This place would be perfect for a bigger family since it had 2 kitchens and 2 living rooms. Host was great to communicate with and property was as described. If we were in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to rebook this location.

We have been fortunate to have stayed at Brophy Reflections for 4 years. The convenience of the double kitchens and family rooms are so wondering for my kids and grandkids. It feels like coming home! Sue has been wonderful to me and my family. Already booked for next summer!

This home had lots of space and everything we needed for a great stay! Beautiful lake views in a quiet neighborhood and canoe, kayak, paddle boat for our use.

Great property with fun summer activities available on property and vlose by. Wish we could have stayed longer. Appreciated the 'short stay' availability.

A lot of fun things to do in Alexandria area. Excellent YMCA to swim and work out at.

We all had an amazing stay. House was great snd everything we needed for our family trip.

The owner was pleasant and wanted to make sure we were comfortable. The beds were very cozy. We were pleasantly surprised as usually, at other places, the mattresses are, at best, ok. The kitchen was well stocked with just about everything you would need. We had a few minor issues being one air conditioner wasn't working properly, but it was cool while there, so not a big issue. They were working at trying to get it fixed. We had a moment that was irritating, when the guy mowing blew grass on us while we were cooking dinner on the patio and saw that there were several people sitting there and didn't even bother to apologize or turn around to blow it the other way. There were alot of stairs down to the lake...36 steps as my granddaughter counted. Going down was ok, coming up was a little more difficult. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Property is beautiful, in a quiet neighnorbood, and very convenient to town. The property owners have thought of everything and are very responsive. Highly recommend!

So much to do in the area in the winter! We went to Carlos Creek winery on Friday afternoon, then ate pizza at Zorbaz that night. Saturday morning was free fun where we went sledding as a family on the hill at Brophy Patk just a few miles away and then kids played at the playground. We came back and cooked a late lunch, then loaded up for day passes at the waterpark at Arrowwood! Kids were ages 1-9 and it was an absolute blast for all involved. Then we came back to Brophy Reflections and had a family movie night. Sue was a great great host and the process was easy. Clear checkout instructions were available from the start so we knew right away what few things we would be asked to do (load dishwasher, take out trash, etc) but it wasn't an intimidating list like so many can sometimes be.We stayed in February with extended family, and the house next door is also a rental, so we were able to stay in both with our large group, and it worked perfectly!

Very clean and spacious 1960s house with many amenities and a great view of the lake. Multiple spaces for the entire family to interact simultaneously. Host communication was excellent and onsite instructions easy to understand. This was the perfect place for our family getaway.

great location, very peaceful

Clean, plenty of necessities, (towels, paper towels, garbage bags), parking space, sprayed for bugs, plenty of chairs, two patios, nice dock and fire pit. Nice gluten free snacks when we came, our family has some gluten free!

Susan was great! Our kids had a blast. The house was a little old and smelled like it. Maybe someone smoked in there years ago? It was fine though and we got used to it and had an amazing time.

Wonderful stay. The house was perfect for our family. Very kid friendly. We spent most of our time down by the lake. The lake was so clear. Kids had fun with the paddle boat. Clean cabin and nice clean dock and beach. We hope to be back again. Words from a 5 year old” this is so, so, so awesome!”

Our stay was perfect. No complaints! The home and outdoors was very clean and put together. Plenty of supplies available for use. Communication with owner was very easy and quick response time! Owner was very sweet and down to earth. It was a great stay for our family. We especially enjoyed the pontoon paddle boat provided. Great spot for fishing as well!

We enjoyed the spacious front yard for campfires; the back patio for outside views and visiting; the paddle boat and water craft provided; Roku tvs. It was a pleasant week with mostly sunny days. We had family times on the lake with tubing behind our boat and a rented pontoon that all enjoyed swimming from. Thanks!
