Had a great stay at Broom and Board. Was able to visit family / friends in the Beverly + Salem area and made the ride up to Southern NH to see my folks. Comfy beds, nice clean kitchen, and great location made for a good trip back home.

Had a fabulous time in Salem! The property was as pictured, and worked beautifully for our group of 7. It was clean, spacious and the beds were really comfortable. Location was great, and very walkable into downtown, we parked our car and did not need to use it our entire stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Broom and board was a perfect location to stay in the heart of Salem. 10-15 minute walk to all locations within Salem. House was clean but be prepared for steps. If there was anything wrong or missing, they installed or it brought it by in a timely manner.

Everything was wonderful....but we were there on one of the hottest days of the summer with temps near 101. The upstairscwas almost unlivable in that heat but we really couldnt complain too much. We loved our stay.

This house was in a great location to walk around and sight see. The house, itself was easy to find and parking was easy. There are super steep stairs up to the front door so if you have mobility issues - this is not for you. The house is super cute but the carpets in the upstairs bedrooms could use a cleaning or replacement.. they are light colored and highly spotted. The beds were comfortable.. plenty of hot water.. we used the washer and dryer and they worked great - there were coffee grounds and sweeteners and a bunch of other stuff there when we got there.. a little liquor store within walking distance for snack and drinks. Stop n Shop was close to stock up for our stay. The AC in each room worked great but was noisy - bring ear plugs if you'll be running AC. All in all if we end up back in Salem again we'll be seeing if this property is available.

My family and I were in town for a funeral. The location was close to where the services were as well as being within walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Plenty of room for our party of 7 adults. Kitchen has great appliances and lots of cookware and dishes. Would definitely stay again.

The apartment was just as described. We had 7 adults but easily could have fit more. The kitchen was a nice surprise. Spacious, modern and very well equipped for cooking for a group. The stairs to enter the apartment and the stairs to access the 3rd floor are very steep and narrow so I wouldn’t suggest it for elderly guests but the young ones in our group managed just fine. Great location! The property managers were very responsive and helpful. We really appreciated that.

Broom and Board is quite nice. 12-15 minutes to the main drag (Essex street). I went for the Halloween madness. Was a little disappointed that there were no Halloween decorations anywhere on the property but to each there own. Only issue was the bathrooms flushing system - which took forever to refill or not at all. Old toilets.

In general the stay ended up good after kind of a rough start. But texting resulted in the biggest problem being fixed in a pretty timely manner. General comments: front door key pad extremely faded and hard to read. Very confusing for people arriving in the dark. Timing of opening door tricky. Remote controls in The living room needed new batteries. The place could really have used a few more mirrors, the only mirrors were in the bathrooms. The chain on the upstairs ceiling fan broke off when we tried to use it to change the speed of the fan. The washing machine made a lot of noise though maybe that is standard for that type of washer. AC should have been installed before we arrived. The place needs more fans. When we first arrived the only fan there was old and broken. They replaced it with a good one , but really with 2 floors and 5 sleeping areas , probably more fans would be good.
