Bright and comfortable 2-level home near the beach w/shared pool, WiFi

We stayed for the week of thanksgiving to visit family. The cottage is in a great central location for visiting the coastal and inland towns and city's. It provided everything we needed for our 7 day stay. Very spacious for my wife and I. the 6 person dining table was great for us to set up our laptops and travel monitors so we could both work on the down time. The gas fireplace was nice and put out a lot of heat. the only reasons i didnt give 5 stars are... trying to find the dumpsters for trash was a hassle, it's up some dirt road with no posted signage. The HOA put marker poles for the snow plows at the end of the driveway and at the parking area on the other side of the street making it difficult to get in and out of the driveway. Vacasa emails and text messages get a bit excessive leading up to arrival. But overall we had a pleasant stay, we will stay here again.

Our go to neighborhood. we have stayed here many times in different homes. The facilities are great. This home was clean and comfortable. The back patio lacks ample seating and furniture as well as no outdoor grill. Besides the back porch the home is great. We will return again that's for sure.

We’ve stayed in this house several times have always been very happy with the property and location.

This house was conveniently located for day trips up and down the coast. The home itself is adorable! But it did lack some basic amenities and the furniture left something to be desired.

The location was wonderful , we loved the complex and its amenities. The security was great. The cottage was lovely, the parking just outside our door was perfect, ?. Loved being on a corner lot and the cottage itself was so very bright and airy. Close to everything, could not beat the location.

The house is conveniently located to many nearby attractions. It is nicely decorated and was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend.

The cottage was spotless and comfortable. We had some communication issues with check in, which hopefully will be resolved with the next guests.

The community pool and club house were beautiful and we enjoyed the short walk there from the house with our kids many times. The house was nicely furnished in a nautical theme but lacked a lot of essentials. There were no dressers or drawers in either bedroom to store any clothing. The kitchen did not have any sheet pans or oven safe dishes for heating up food in the oven. There was also no home manual to explain anything. We did not have instructions on where to dispose of garbage, hours of the pool, gym etc. There was no information whatsoever on anything. I’ve rented many homes in the past and have never encountered this before. There were multiple issues with the wi-fi throughout the stay which we believe was due to an outage in the area. We had the unfortunate experience of ants coming in the front door and into the living area beginning the day after we arrived. We also found ants coming into the kitchen and both downstairs bathrooms. (Please note that this part of the review is based on the management company that we had to deal with). It was unfortunate that this impacted our entire trip. I called vacasa to report the problem. I was told I would hear back from someone within an hour to remedy the situation. That hour came and went and I never heard from anyone. Later that day I called vacasa again. After speaking with multiple agents, I was told that my “ticket” was mistakenly sent to a maintenance person who was off that day. After multiple phone calls and finally speaking with a local manager, they were able to get a substitute maintenance person to install ant traps inside the home and spray around the perimeter. Unfortunately this did not solve the problem and the ants continued to be a nuisance. The following day I was back on the phone with vacasa to explain that we were still having an issue. They basically told me that they did not think they would be able to get an exterminator there before the end of our stay. At this point we were considering moving out of the home. The option they offered for another location was not comparable to our current location and would not have worked for our family. At this point we asked for compensation for the hassle this had caused. After hours on the phone for multiple days with multiple people from vacasa, this was certainly not how we wanted to spend our vacation. Vacasa gave us partial compensation for all of the trouble but I would never rent a home managed by vacasa again.
