The house sits on a half acre located on Navajo Mountain halfway up and two blocks to the North side of the Navajo ski Runs. The kids can snow sled on the property in the winter and In the summer there is plenty of room for tent and trailer camping with plenty of fairly flat ground. There is also an outdoor fire pit for cookouts.

We had a great time. All enjoyed the skiing and the kids loved sledding on the hill next to the house. There was plenty of room for all. We were six adults and 3 children 6, 8, 9. Not sure how to message John, but I seem to be missing gift box with a beautiful hand painted silk scarf. Did I leave it in the house?
Will be coming back!
Overall a great stay. A lot of family things to do around the area. Trails , slopes, tubing . Our family had a great time
The place needs some fixing up. They are trying to sell so I guess they don't want to put any more money into it. Some areas of the decks are scarey and unsafe, need to be replaced. Make sure you wash the dishes you use. You occasionally find some in the cupboard are dirty. My grandson found a dead mouse stuck to a sticky trap under the kitchen sink. It was okay clean considering the age of the cupboards, floors, furniture etc. It was roomy for our family of 14. The kitchen big for us all to eat together. The area is beautiful. We had a good time but I would not stay there again.
We stayed three days. We rented two homes. The two homes next to each other. We had a lovely time. Could have used more forks in this home.
The location was beautiful. The 4 BR and 4 bath was just what our 4 couples needed. The kitchen/dining room was a great size for 8 people. The house has mice. We set out sticky traps and killed 2. We heard rodents running above the ceiling while we were in bed at night. The cabinet under the kitchen sink had so many droppings as did the cabinets with all the pots and pans. We had to washed all the dishes prior to using them. Disgusting! The write up said 2-1/2 garage. We could only use 1 side of the garage b/c the other side had a load of firewood all over the space. All the towels are very shabby. We would never rent this house again and would never recommend it as it is. When I sent a message to the owner about the rats-he corrected me and said there were mice not rats as though that made it ok! The house overall was not clean.
This was a perfect location to spend some time at the resort at Brian. Had. We all had a wonderful time and the owner was very responsive when we had a need.
We've used this cabin 4 times in the last 15 years and it has declined in the cleanliness and maintenance, which is sad because we really loved this cabin. It's close to the resort and the area around it allows kids to play & sled in the snow. The cabin is great for a big family with many rooms & a big dining & family room. The owner does reply & contact quickly with any issues.
Enjoyed the big house. We had a great time. Thank you.
The location is priceless! Our families could sled all day right outside the door.
Pros: Excellent views of the surrounding mountains. Great snow hill for the kids to sled down. Huge kitchen Lots of space Wood burning stove keeps the house warm. Accessible laundry room. Plenty of consumables available (Fire wood, TP, foil, trash bags, etc.) Owner was available for questions, and had good communication. Cons: I could never find written instructions for check in/check out, either on VRBO, or through my personal email, but the owner was plenty available to walk me through things over the phone. Overall was a good stay. The cabin was somewhat dated, but clean. Kitchen was well stocked with all the tools and utensils needed to prepare most meals. There were also some things we had forgotten, like salt, sugar, oil, and some spices. I saw 2 barbeques on the deck, but no propane tanks to go with them. The cabin is very close to the ski resort. If you're looking for the most updated, stylistically coordinated cabin with fine finishes, this is not your place, but if you want something clean, warm, close, with an outstanding view that won't break the bank, then I'd have to say it's hard to go wrong with this one.
This has probably been one of the best cabin stays for our annual snow trip. First, the communication with the owner was excellent. He was very helpful and friendly. The cabin was plenty spacious for our group of 11. The kitchen was wonderfully large and plenty of seating in the family room. It was very clean and incredibly well stocked. I always bring an emergency box with things that have been missing in the past and I didn't have to touch it!! That was awesome. The wood burning stove kept the living area toasty and the central heating was great for the rest of the cabin. Plenty of hot water also. The owners have thought of everything to make this cabin an enjoyable and comfortable stay.
So we had an amazing time at this cabin. The location is beautiful! The cabin is spacious and well stocked with just about everything you could possibly think of. The cleanliness of the cabin was lacking. Lots of cobwebs and dust. The cabin is dated and in need of some repairs but honestly for the space and location it was a find for the price. I had little interaction with the host John but he was quick to reply when I had questions about check in. Overall an excellent stay.
Give it 4.5
We had a fantastic girls camp here. We loved the area and all the activities in close proximity. The fire pit is great and the house was well stocked. There was confusion finding the property and it wasn't super clean but we're not picky so it was good
This home has everything you need to hold a family get together. The host was wonderful to work with. The area was amazing.
Main floor and upstairs were clean and nice. Basement bedroom had evidence of mice on the floor and beds. Had to rent a room elsewhere for 8 family members. Outside yard needs better landscaping and upkeep.
We stayed with family and friends for 4 days and 3 nights and loved it. Very well equipped and everything worked properly. Clean and well supplied. Everything we needed inside plus a great outside area with fire pit and fire wood available. The kids loved all the cute chipmunks and woodchucks that hung out around the area. We would definitely stay here again.
Spent a weekend here with some friends and family and had a great time. TONS of space, clean, a lot of outside area for outdoor games and a fire pit and grill. Quick to respond on the communication as well. Easy checkout. Be sure to bring propane up the mountain with you if you plan to use the grill.
Our family enjoyed our stay. Property was clean but a little outdated should quit a bit of wair and tair.
The Cabin was great to fit all my family. Brian Head, itself, was very disappointing.
Our host John was amazing. Very pleasant, he answered all my questions. Fast response every time. This house is exactly what you need for a great vacation. It has everything!!!!! From the kitchen, bathrooms, sledding gear, plenty of room for a big family. The room downstairs was perfect with all the bunk beds for the kids. They had a blast sleeping together. Very close to Brian head resort plus a convenient store with just about everything you would need. A great pizza place just 6 minutes away. Thank you for letting us stay
