Newberg, Oregon
This home is a destination and an experience. There are incredible sweeping vineyard, hazelnut, and valley views throughout most of the rooms. Whether it is a low hanging fog drifting between hills or a bright orange sunset behind the Chahalem Mountains in the distance, the beauty is unparalleled.
Most every item in the home is brand new and curated to create an amazing experience for our guests. The home has ample room to spread out and enjoy everything it has to offer both inside and out. The property itself sits on close to 20 acres with over 15 of them used for hazelnuts and fruit trees.
Inside the home you will find almost six thousand square feet of primary living space and a two thousand three hundred square feet finished basement loaded with amenities and a sleeping area. There are four spacious bedrooms on the two main floors with one of them having an en suite bathroom on the ground floor. There are two large living room areas with the upstairs one having vaulted ceilings and a wet bar.
One fantastic feature great room style open kitchen with double oven and cooktop. The kitchen is fully stocked for all your culinary needs and is perfect for preparing meals or having a local professional chef come and take care of that for you.
In the renovated and finished basement you fill two additional beds, couches, vinyl records with a player, TV with streaming capability, air hockey, ping pong, and tables games. There is so much to enjoy, see, and do you won't want to leave the home. When you do however, there are countless incredible vineyards moments away as well as some fantastic restaurants in Newberg, Dundee, Dayton just to name a few. The air and space museum is a short jaunt and day trips to downtown Portland or the Oregon Coast are within easy reach. It is hard to find a better location than this to explore much of what the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please stay indoors during this time, keep the windows and doors closed and keep the volume to an enjoyable but reasonable level. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring the interior of the house.

We enjoyed our stay….the view was wonderful and the house was very comfortable. There were a handful of things that needed attention from the property manager, but they didn’t seem too interested in taking care of them.
The property was very nice with spectacular views. However there were several maintenance issues that keeps us from giving it five stars.
What an amazing house! The views were lovely, it was well-appointed and our family had a wonderful time!
I rented Skyview Villa for 10 adults (4 of whom had never been to Oregon) and we had a blast! The kitchen is well-appointed (we ate all our meals in) and spacious for large groups. The bedrooms are very comfortable with nice linens and towels. The views are absolutely gorgeous and we spent a lot of time on the patios enjoying the area and each others company. We’re already talking about a return trip! The *only* downside to this home is if you’re staying in the gigantic, wonderful basement space, you need to use the bathrooms and shower upstairs. Not a big deal for us at all but it could be for others. Can’t wait to go back!!
This property does indeed have incredible views. There is a broken dead bolt on the door leading to the deck from the dining area, requiring guests to walk through great room to access the outside dining on the deck. The only property accessible for outside activities is the paved area out front with a large fire pit in the middle. There is very low water pressure in the house. We found the kitchen the most disappointing. The first evening we smelled a horrific stench from the stove top area. We discovered a thickish rancid puddle of fluid under the range top. Gag worthy. We used rubber gloves and paper towels to clean and dispose of the sickening smell in the outside trash. There were no cleaning supplies other than dish soap. The ceilings and upper cabinets were covered in thick dust and cobwebs and a window was covered in spider webs and bird poop. We found it very difficult to cook our meals for 12 people on the range top that didn't heat sufficiently and without needed cookware and utensils. The only colanders were small ones for fruit. No pasta spoon, not even slotted spoon. There was not even salt and pepper. No staples provided. There is not a bathroom in the basement where there are 2 beds located. All bedrooms have bright sunlight streaming through, so sleep masks would be helpful to pack. The reviews are mostly from years past, so perhaps the cleaning crew has changed and supplies have disappeared. The price range and promise of a five-star stay did not deliver.
Celebrating our mother's 95th birthday was a dream in this gorgeous property! Our close family flew in from across the country and so appreciated this beautiful setting in the Dundee hills. We spent our time together out on the deck, enjoying the incredible vistas over the vineyards and orchards. The kitchen/dining area was perfect to be together for meals, with the grand view. The gardens were all in bloom with roses, and the weather spectacular. Plenty of bedrooms for everyone. The location is ideal, with fabulous wineries all around. The management was extremely responsive to all our requests and questions; and the house was spotless clean. The one thing to be aware of is that check-in time of 5pm is later than any we've experienced. Thankfully, they were able to confirm early check-in for us, given the challenge of traveling with our mom at age 95. The management team was super friendly and very quick to reply. We highly recommend this beautiful property. We enjoyed a very special holiday weekend and look forward to returning!
Perfect home away from home.
We had a lovely stay! Enjoyed the game table perfect size for 8 of us to sit and play games together! The views from the living room and kitchen are outstanding!
My family rented this home for Thanksgiving and it was so perfect! We had grandparents and grandkids and every age in between, and every one was happy! There was so much to do between the game room and movie room! The large kitchen was perfect for everyone gathering in there! Everyone kept saying that the house felt so luxurious, but so so home-y!! I absolutely recommend!
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed this house! Dinners, hanging out by the fireplace in both living rooms, getting a little exercise walking the orchards. I highly recommend it!
Great location with beautiful views. Lots of space indoors and outside. Will be back.
This home was perfect for our family of 7 adults and 5 children. Very spacious and lovely to have so much room to cook and hang out with the kids. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay. Will try to make this an annual vacation to have our family all in one spot. Mahalo!
Four couples stayed here in early October to visit wineries in the area. The homes location was centrally located between, Yamhill, Carlton, Newberg, and Dundee. We visited wineries in all of these areas and the drive was no more than 10 to 15 minutes. The home had two suites with en-suite bathrooms, and two that shared a bathroom. The views were wonderful in the midst of many vineyards. Great place
Family gathered at Skyview Villa, coming from Chicago, Peoria, Seattle, Santa Fe, Salem, and Portland to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Room for everyone in one house. The location allowed for a celebratory dinner in a private room at Jory and an afternoon of wine tasting at Anne Amie and a closing dinner at Earth and Sea. The Villa had lots of room for card games and meals inside and outside. The view was stupendous. We recommend the Villa for any family gathering.
Incredible views and a quiet and private area. Perfect spot for our family get together. 11 of us and our dog. Our children, their spouses, grandchildren and us grandparents, all had comfortable rooms. The home offers large open areas and a kitchen to congregate in. Plus, there is a great basement for the kids to run around in and play. The home is surrounded by large decks and an open area in front for the grandkids to ride their bikes and scooters. Home is on a hazel nut orchard and old apple orchard, offering pleasant, if a little dusty at the end of August, walks and places for the kids and dog to explore. All within minutes of a multitude of kid friendly tasting rooms. We had a great vacation!.
We spent 4 days at this property, and had a wonderful time. The house was great and accommodated the whole family, 8 in total. There were some great activities for the two children in the group as well. I did contact the property host once for a propane refill for the outdoor fire place, and they were very attentive and helpful, and were able to get us what we needed very quickly. The house was in a very central location for wine tasting, and had all the amenities we needed and more. Will definitely keep this property in mind for future trips.
We stayed here for our company retreat with 7 people and loved the experience. The house was fun to hang out in. The kitchen was very well-stocked and dining room was great. The living was big enough for all of us to sit in very comfortably. The beds were excellent and pillows good. Location to all things wine country was great. Views are outstanding. I'm a rental house snob, and while this isn't the most luxurious, it's the best I've seen and stayed in in Oregon wine country. We'll be back!
Me and my girlfriends had a lovely wine country weekend here- the place was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Lots of cozy places to curl up with a blanket and have conversation and wine. We will definitely come back!
