Brazos River Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brazos River Retreat. The setup was perfect for our family group of 6...us grandparents and daughter's family with 2 boys. The backyard was so peaceful and relaxing with a lovely view of the river and beautiful sunsets. There were plenty of comfy chairs on and off the nice deck. The boys even went fishing from the dock. The house was well supplied and comfortable. The decor was delightful with the extra special touch to make it special. There were fun games and puzzles available and the location was convenient to our activities in Waco. We loved it! Highly recommend.

The river was beautiful and relaxing. My family very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you for the wonderful accommodations. Waco had some great things to see and do. Would stay at the M&M house again and recommend to others.

Lovely setting for a relaxing getaway

Great location. Host was easy to work with. Had everything we needed. Very comfortable. Not far from anything in town.

We had a wedding to go to in the area and it was a great place for the cousins to gather and play catchup! We fished, we enjoyed the fire pit by the water, we grilled and enjoyed family time! The host was super responsive with any questions before and during our stay! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family!!

We loved our stay! The property is beautiful with incredible views, very clean, and full of fun amenities. The fishing was fantastic, and the hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location. Place was clean, spacious, incredible view, and a quick drive to downtown. The hosts were responsive and access was easy. This was really a great stay.

The was clean cozy and perfect for our stay. We enjoyed being on the river, and being close to restaurants. Our group of 6 long time friends teacher friends had a great time.

We had a great stay. It was 4th of July weekend and it did rain our whole stay. That did not stop us! We enjoyed the dock for fishing and a few fireworks with the kids. Ventured into Waco! A good sized yard for rain football! Michelle was quick to act when needed. 10/10 stars! I sat on the porch and watch my adult boys have a blast! We definitely plan to come back when it is not raining!

Very nice....quiet....great outdoor space....if we had stayed longer we would have used more amenties. We loved it!!

This was the perfect rental for our family of 6. Not too far outside Waco, quiet neighborhood, clean, beautiful, on the river with options to enjoy it. We had everything we needed while there. Great comfy touches like cozy blankets, games, and snacks.

Owners think of details: night lights in bathrooms, labeled electrical switches, rapid responses to questions in app, house well equipped, etc. Nice, safe neighborhood also.

We had a pleasant stay. The house was at a great location. It was very beautiful beside the water and the outside. For me, the windows could have been cleaner. That was one downer, but maybe that is just me. But other than that, it was a great stay.

My husband, two kids and their families stayed over Easter weekend and it was fabulous. The house was very roomy and comfortable. The outside space had an awesome deck with lots of seating. The yard as huge and there were games in the shed to play with. We also swam off the dock. The weather was perfect so we spent a lot of time outside. Would definitely rent again.

Very nice house located right on Brazos river. We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed every day. Lots to do in the area. Would love to come back during warmer weather to enjoy the deck, yard and river. Very clean, owner was very quick to respond when the door code wouldn’t work. Lots of small touches that were very much appreciated.

Five ladies enjoying our annual weekend together. The house was lovely and very comfortable. The elevation from house to river is not depicted in the description or photos. It was very quiet and peaceful.We had a nice time.

Great waterfront spot! Very clean and just what we were looking for. Loved the patio for morning coffee and evening sunsets. Neighbor’s dog was the only complaint waking us up very early but that can’t always be helped by owner.

My guys were in town for work and loved the house, outside patio and fishing.

We enjoyed a nice weekend at this home in the River. The outside area was peaceful and relaxing. The home was clean and well stocked for our stay.

The indoor and outdoor spaces were perfect for gathering and relaxing. Everything was well equipped. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions and extremely accommodating- offering to leave some of their own family yard games for us to enjoy. The river at the property location was fairly shallow- less than five feet- but fine for cooling off. The kayak and floats were a nice addition. Though for anyone looking to truly enjoy the water- I highly recommend a day trip to lake Whitney for swimming and cliff jumping… deep, cool, clean water with no entry fee.

Beautiful home by the lake, home feel

Wonderful little house, right on the river. Beautiful backyard and very well kept home. My only dislike was the beds - they were very firm for my taste, but I know that is a very subjective thing, and I have been known to be a bit of a bed snob. Wouldn't keep us from returning if were ever in Waco again.
