Welcome to the Sage House - your mountain escape just outside of Asheville! Whether you're here to lounge around the firepit, stargaze from the hot tub, hike along one of the many waterfall trails, fly fish for trout, visit the magnificent Biltmore Estate, buy local goods from one of the many farmer's markets, or spend date night at a local brewery, there's something for everyone!
There's plenty of room for a party of six to spread out and relax. You're greeted by an inviting front porchwith lounge chairs for your morning coffee and a bench for putting on those hiking boots for some rugged outdoor explorations. The living room houses a large 65 Smart TV with Starlink satellite and free Netflix for entertainment, a desk workspace tucked into a quaint alcove for the remote worker, 2 comfy sofas and leather swivel chairs with plenty of pillows and throw blankets for cuddling, as well as a storage console with games and puzzles for the whole family.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the necessary supplies and brand new appliances. The bar seating area with sleek quartz countertops comfortably seats 4 people. Just off the kitchen is a coffee bar that is stocked with K-cups, sweeteners, coffee mugs, a single cup Keurig, milk frother and an 8-cup coffee maker.
The dining room is cozy and seats six people with large window views of nearby mountains. This is also where you can find a large capacity washer and dryer with laundry essentials, as well as a high chair for those little diners. Entertain in style with the record player (also with Bluetooth capabilities). The downstairs bathroom is around the corner, and easy to access before heading out to the expansive back deck.
The hot tub for six sparkles and heats to a comfortable 104 degrees. Turn on the mood lighting and connect to your phone's Bluetooth for outdoor easy listening and relaxation. Pool towels are also provided for your convenience. The firepit area can host six people and is a great space to unwind and recap after a full day of fun and adventure! There's also a charcoal grill available for a quick barbecue.
After you've counted all of the stars and enjoyed the mountain air and tranquil night sounds, you can head upstairs to find all 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The sleeping arrangements allow for a great night's sleep for any group of people. The large primary bedroom includes a king size Leesa memory foam mattress with mattress topper and extra blankets and storage in the walk-in closet. The bedroom is also equipped with a Smart TV, a pack n play for small children, small benches for getting ready, suitcase stands, reading sconces, blackout shades and a full-length mirror with ottoman for a makeshift vanity.
The en suite bathroom has a walk-in shower and a double sink vanity with quartz counters. It is stocked with plush towels, black makeup washcloths, hair dryer, hand soap, toilet paper and shampoo/conditioner/body wash for your convenience. The second bedroom includes a queen-size Nectar mattress with mattress topper, matching nightstands and lamps, blackout shades, full-length mirror, extra blankets and built-in closet storage and dresser. The final bedroom has matching twin xl beds that will accommodate children, as well as adults. Blackout shades with window views to the mountains, a full-length mirror, shared nightstand, built-in closet storage and suitcase stands complete this room. The shared hallway bathroom has a tub/shower combo with plush towels, hand towels and washcloths, towel hooks and soap/shampoo supplies, as well as a hair dryer.
We spared no expense when we furnished our Sage Mountain Escape, and our desire is that you enjoy your time in Western North Carolina so much that you come back to visit time and time again!
