Boonedocks Cottages at Romar w/ Pool & Beach Access Sleeps 10 by Prickett Properties

We have enjoyed staying at Boonedocks the past two years. The layout provides space for each of our three kids to bring friends, and we LOVE that we can bring our dogs. Plus, the parking area is very accommodating for multiple vehicles. We appreciate the updates (new flooring upstairs) that was made this year. I do wish the kitchen was better outfitted. We enjoy cooking and found some items we needed were not available. We made it work, but with such a beautiful kitchen I just wish we had a bit more to work with in that area. Thank you for a great stay and another week of fun memories in Orange Beach!

The facility was very designed for family get togethers and other small groups. The location was ideal for any activity ranging from sitting out, dinner or live entertainment, oh by the way the best beach in the south.

We had a fabulous week with our three grown children and their partners. This is the second time we have stayed at Cottages at Romar. The location is wonderful and accommodations are top notch. This home was large and open and perfect for a family trip. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, elevator was very handy. A great vacation.

This was the best place we have stayed at! Plenty of room and we loved being close to the pool! The walk to the beach was very easy! This was very close to all the restaurants. We will definitely be back!

The house was in a great location in Orange Beach. I loved the community was very quant. Access to the beach and pool was perfect. The house was beautiful and very large. Bedroom space was great with plenty of room. Kitchen was fairly well stocked with everything thing we needed. Back porch was ideal for hanging out on and great for morning coffee. The outdoor couch was a bit worn down so we did not use that. The only disappoint we had was the top floor smelled of pet urine. The company tried to cover it up with spray and brought in oder absorbers but it provided minimal relief. It was a shame that a house this nice was ruined with the urine smell. This would be only thing that I would deter me from returning. I will look at other homes in the community in the future, but would second guess booking this place due to this.

Boonedocks is in a perfect location and has room for family to enjoy game nights and eating in. It's just a walk down the boardwalk to the Beach and has an incredible neighborhood pool. We enjoyed our trip and Boonedocks was perfect for us. It's a family friendly rental and neighborhood.

We LOVED the house and the community of cottages at Romar. Easy walk to the beach or the pool. The house was spacious and perfect for the 7 of us! Kitchen was a good size for several work at the same time. Property Mgmt was attentive when needed. Would aSuggest updating the outdoor furniture and shades in the house downstairs . Look great, wear and tear is reducing its functionality. We are definitely returning next year!

This was our first year staying in this beach home. It was clean and spacious for our family group of 10 (6 adults, 4 children). The kitchen was a great size allowing for several people to be in there at one time. Bedrooms were spacious and each had its own bathroom. Also, a powder bath off of the main area downstairs was very convenient. Kitchen was adequately equipped with 2 coffee makers (regular and keurig), blender, electric can opener, and toaster oven. Dishes, flatware and glassware served our family well, but one minor complaint was there were not enough small bowls for cereal, etc. All appliances seemed to be in good working order. Washer and dryer are located in a spacious laundry room upstairs and worked great. There is an additional icemaker machine in the small bar area which was great for filling coolers. Porch area has regular seating as well as a nice table for 6 for outdoor dining. We have stayed in this beach neighborhood complex for the past five years and love the location, pool amenities, and convenience to the beach. We will definitely be staying in Boondocks house again!

We love these homes in here. Comfy for the family! I think it would make this home even better if they upgraded to walk in showers vs tub showers. Elevator is extremely handy!

We enjoyed our stay and the rental was exceptional

This was a wonderful home that met and surpassed all of our needs! From generous living spaces to a well equipped kitchen to beautiful back porch living - this property accommodated our 3 families well and allowed us to enjoy a week at the beach together! We were able to cook all our meals, do our laundry and house & meet the needs of people from age 1 to age 85. Not only did we love the place but we also appreciated the great property management! When we first arrived, the air wasn’t working in the upstairs and Pricket Properties immediately had someone out to fix it (despite it being a Sunday). What a great place to get away and enjoy some family time together at the beach!!
