Bonnie Dune - Waterfront Retreat for 8

We had such a beautiful experience at this beach house. The space was clean, cozy & set up for relaxation and our family. You can feel how much care went into this property, from the comfortable beds to the thoughtful nature field guide books tucked into the drawers. The location was ideal. A short walk to the beach with plenty of local charm nearby. We loved sitting outside watching the water and wildlife change throughout the day. Communicating with the host was easy and friendly. Everything went smoothly from check in to check out. It felt like a home away from home. We would absolutely stay here again. Our 4 year old daughter and 2 year old granddaughter loved playing in the sand in the backyard. I hope we get to stay here again on our annual family fall break. It was such a lovely experience!

We enjoyed our time at Bonnie Dune. House was very well equipped for our two week stay. The location is good. Views off the deck are gorgeous! You overlook the lagoon and have beautiful sunsets. We would stay again if we are ever back in Gulf Shores.

Nice get away.

We loved our week at the Bonnie Dune! Perfect quiet safe neighborhood and a short walk to the absolutely gorgeous beach. Fishing off the dock in the mornings and watching the sunsets in the evening was so nice. The house is very well laid out and has just the right beachy decor to make you really feel like you're on vacation. The separate Sandy bottom apartment was great for privacy and there's plenty of space upstairs for the whole family to hangout. So glad we chose this place!

Mr. David had a beautiful home! The down stairs living part was awesome. The upstairs was open and spacious. The outside space was so relaxing! The decor was light and beautiful. They thought of everything to accomidate families with kids! So close to everything. Highly recommended for any family! We had an absolute blast and will definitley rebook!

The cottage was just as described. The owners were excellent communicating and check in/check out process was seamless. It was an easy walk to the beach access. We also enjoyed the beachy feel of the backyard. We would not hesitate to rent again in the future.

We enjoyed every minute at Bonnie Dune/Sandy Bottom! The pictures do not do this place justice. It is a beautiful property and comfortably furnished. We spent most of our time on the decks, playing in the sand of the “private backyard beach”, swinging and napping in the hammocks. We also enjoyed the convenience (just a short stroll away) of Pier 33 Grocery which includes an upstairs coffee shop. Walks to the beach using the wagon provided made the trips easier. David and Paula have furnished items to make you feel right at home. It’s a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to several eateries and a short car ride to many other places of interest. It’s the perfect location!

Super quiet location overlooking the lagoon. Our younger kids loved having the sand to play in, and the boat dock to catch hermit crabs in everyday! We loved the seatng area under the deck. It was so peaceful. The extras that were provided were great. There was a beach wagon and umbrella that we used everyday, and were so greatful to have use of them. We would recommend staying here to anyone, especially if you have littles.
