Location was perfect! The house itself needs some work; the floor in the bedroom was sinking, baseboard torn off in closet, most the doors to the rooms were swollen and wouldnt close, broken furniture. Other than that we had a blast!

Loved the house! The view when you walk in is beautiful. Everything was clean and the furnishings are pretty and comfortable. Love all the porches and the fire pit. The Master is to die for but a little wasted space. Very small drawbacks: Nails were sticking up on the outside stairs going down to the patio. We found a rock and forced them back in. The bathroom door in the Master would not shut. That was annoying because if someone walked in to the master they could see you in the bathroom. My daughter said someone was leaving when they arrived and they had cut the grass. But the grass was still long which was annoying. Just cut it shorter next time. We did have some issues before checking in in making sure the dock was moved out. Communication was poor but in the end, it was moved out so we could park our boat. Loved the Kayaks and appreciated the quick response to fix the living room TV . Bonus: The Fireworks were clearly visible from the back yard!

Four Canadian adventure motorcyclists who stayed for 4 nights to explore the trails and roads in the area. This house was ideal as a place to relax, cook, enjoy the sunset on the water and get a good rest after a tiring riding day before repeating it again the next day. Couldn’t have scripted it better. Thanks!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect for us. 6 adults, one preschooler, one infant. We enjoyed the hot tub, playing sports in the back yard, fishing on the lake; and playing card games at the dining room table. We would certainly stay here again!

Not enough can be said about this property. Right on the lake, really pretty home, very well stocked, very well maintained. We had some trouble with the fireplace - us(er) issue - so we contacted Priscilla, the property manager. She, not only, responded right away but came by and showed us how to work it, correctly. Definitely coming back.

We only ended up in Hiawassee because the house we had rented was in the hurricane damaged area of NC. Because of motel shortages, we came to GA for a room on Saturday night. On Sunday I checked out Vrbo and found this house. The location is great -- 1/2 mile from the main street in town, on a quiet dead end street, and on the lake. There were 6 retirees in our party. The one floor layout was perfect for those who have had hip and knee replacements. The 4 bedroom, 3 bath accommodations were idea. 2 BR's have baths in them. All of the living area is really large -- living room, dining area, kitchen, and the massive master bedroom suite. The master bath, bedroom, and closet are huge. Also, the are enclosed porch/deck areas on the back of the house that look out over the lake; plus there are 2 open decks as well. We used the enclosed porch in the master bedroom as a game room and had a blast. The back yard is very large, with a fire pit, corn hole, and a dock at the lake. We all were so happy we found this property; Priscilla with the management company was very responsive and we were able to get in within 2 hours after making the reservation. We have plans to return to Hiawasee and to this house next year.

Overall, the interior of the property was very nice. The back porches were lovely for the time of year that we were there and lots of comfy seating outside. Unfortunately, because of the time of year they had started adjusting the water level in the lake, so the dock was sitting on mud and not floating. We did chat with the property manager about that and there was nothing that could be done. we were able to take some of the chairs from the seating by the house down to the water edge. One of the TVs in the house was not functional because no remote could be found. We chatted with the property manager about it but no resolution - very small, minor things. The kitchen was well appointed the bathrooms were well appointed And beds were comfortable. The teenage in our group were very impressed with the decor and commented on how aesthetic it was

This rental is a dream! It is incredibly spacious - even more so than the pictures show - and well equipped. The location can’t be beat to go into town or cruise around the lake. My family had a fabulous time and can’t wait to return!

This home has everything you need to enjoy a family vacation. The property was spacious and level for those that have difficulty walking up or down steep inclines. The home was very clean and comfortable. The whole family enjoyed swimming, fishing, and boating on beautiful lake Chatuge. The property manager did an excellent job making sure we had everything we needed as always! (We've stayed at other properties managed by Chatuge Home Concierge) If your looking for the perfect family getaway, this is the home your looking for!

The house is nice. When we arrived the cleaning woman was leaving and said that someone would come by and get the garbage from the previous renters. That never happened. My guests made a comment about the amount of garbage in the driveway as they pulled up. We had to look at it the whole week. The exterior of the house is covered in spider webs and is in need of some repair and cleaning. The inside was clean and well equipped. There are places where the floors are warped/sloped. Our biggest issue is the dock. We were expecting to be able to utilize the dock with a boat and that is not the case. The water is way too low. Also, I tried emailing the property manager a few times about the garage and the dock access but never received a reply.
