BOATHOUND BONGAREE On The Canal and Pet Friendly

I would like to see a notice to prospective renters at the beginning of the listing regarding the lack of sheets, towels, consumables and WIFI. I would also like to see a cost for sheets and towels if required. Since I am travelling from overseas I don’t really want to bring my linen because it takes up too much space. With regards to the house itself: nice house, quiet location, would work well for people with a boat. Lovely garden. The range hood was very greasy and the hood light didn’t work. The latch to to soap dispenser in the dishwasher is broken, some of your ice cube trays have cracks in them and since you have to pay extra for air con a couple more fans wouldn’t go amiss

the property was on the canal and was very relaxing no fish or crabs the weather was very cool.

No wifi and the listing doesn't say anything about it having NO WIFI , NO Tea towels the benchs were sticky the kettle was broken we had to message the host and they did bring around a new one there was no general cleang spray and no extra toilet paper , the house is an older family home what seams to be rented out it needs a good pressure wash on the out door area's and the bbq was not even able to be used it was old and gross. The location is great and quite but the host need to do updating its an expensive place when its not modern and clean and in this day WIFI SHOULD BE INCLUDED OR SAID ITS CLEARLY NOT AVAILABLE.

Very family friendly property perfect for two family share with just about all games and fun things for kids you could think of. Such a relaxing atmosphere both indoors and outdoors, perfectly clean on arrival. Will certainly visit again

Lovely place to stay. Outdoor areas and pontoon were great. The house was nice on a quiet street. A nice kennel was provided too. Make sure you bring 2 coins as air con is pay as you go and there is no wifi.

Our family stay of 6 people and my elderly dad was a nice stay

Property was great. Very relaxing being able to watch the water. Clean and had everything we needed. Would love to return one day.

Beautiful large house on the canal. Every thing is supplied except sheets and towels but we were fine with this. Security made us feel safe in an area unknown to us. Poontoon for fishing and boat docking. 1 5k walk to shopping centre but less of a walk to Aldi. 3 TVs but only 1 worked. Owner very accommodating. . Will stay again

Always a pleasure to visit your dwelling.The home could do with a thorough clean, not just a wipe over.Both BBQ’s were very dirty. We had to buy an instrument to clean the large one.The beds squeak. Property very dated. 1980’s.

We have stayed at Boathound several times and always enjoy our stay. We appreciate that it is dog friendly and we can park the boat in the canal.

Great stay Had to do some cleaning on arrival.? Canal gates closed for maintenance didnt know till we tried to put boat in water

My dogs loves the place and they are very sad when the holiday end. Perfect place to relax and slow down.

The property overall was a great stay. The owners were lovely enough to let us check in early after our long trip. Morning coffee out the back near the canal was beautiful. Minior down point the fridge could do with a good clean

The home was lovely and clean, well presented. Minor catch (rookie mistake on my part) no WIFI. Noting the Dryer and AC are coin operated, luckily we didnt need both ?. Thanks for the lovely break.
