Weaverville, North Carolina
Escape to your own secluded slice of mountain paradise at Blue Ridge Bliss! Named one of the "Best Vacation Rentals in Asheville" by Business Insider, this spacious home perched atop nearly 10 wooded acres offers privacy, breathtaking views, a combination of luxury amenities and rustic charm, and a short walk to trails and cycling.
Completely renovated in 2009, this home features a stunning, floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, hardwood floors, and tongue-and-groove cedar paneling. The central living room includes 180 degrees of windows with postcard worthy-views of mountains and sunsets. Large, open kitchen features granite countertops, double oven, pantry, oversized copper farm sink, five-burner propane gas stove, and Keurig coffee maker. The upper loft includes additional seating, satellite TV, and a space to work. Enjoy music in the loft and main level through six Bluetooth-connected ceiling speakers. A lower living area includes a 65” smart TV with satellite and 5.1 speaker surround sound. A private primary suite with an en suite bath on the lower level opens onto the stone patio. The second and third bedrooms have full en-suite baths. The third bedroom with bunk beds has a sliding barn door to separate it from the den area.
Relax with unobstructed views of layers of mountains, cozy up to the fire pit, or enjoy evening meals on the newly-added patio dining set on the large wraparound porch.
Nestled off of Ox Creek Road near the intersection of Elk Mountain Scenic Highway and The Blue Ridge Parkway, the home is within walking distance to popular hiking trails and cycling along the Parkway. Secluded but centrally located, the adorable town of Weaverville offers several local, delicious restaurants and brewery options. The home is also just a short drive to Asheville (20 minutes) and the town of Black Mountain, which provide even more culinary, shopping, and outdoor experiences.
Please note: A brand new water filtration system was added in October 2020, however, it does not apply to outdoor water supply. The hot tub is serviced and cleaned weekly, but due to natural minerals in the well water, it can appear discolored. Rest assured that it is safe for soaking! A Pack N Play was added in February 2023. Firewood is not provided as part of the rental. We recommend picking up a bundle of firewood at one of our local Ingles grocery stores. This house is pet-friendly with an additional pet fee. There is an exterior security camera.
During the colder winter months, icy and/or snowy road conditions can become extreme. From December through March, please come prepared with AWD or 4WD vehicles.

Wonderful home and nicely located with quick access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and close enough to Asheville to enjoy some of the city fun. Clean and well cared for property that is ideal for a family.
Property and house was amazing. We somehow were able to use Uber to get to and from Asheville all weekend
I loved so many things about this house and trip - the location is excellent, the kitchen and all the supplies were wonderful, I adored the textile art on the walls, and the view is just unbeatable. We saw bears 3 different times! We went on some short hikes, spent some time in Asheville, but got a lot of time doing crafts and relaxing at the house. Only issue was we never could figure out some of the tv / audio connections but who cares when there’s so much else to see and do?! I hope to stay here again next spring / summer.
This home was large, clean, and has stunningly beautiful views. Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their own space and gather around the cozy dining room for family dinners. The only negatives were the hot tub not staying warm ( although the weather this week was not over 58 degrees during the day and 33 at night) and the road closures on blue ridge parkway that forced us to find alternate routes to the home. I would recommend this home to any family that wants a true mountain getaway.
Our family had a wonderful stay at Blue Ridge Bliss. The views were spectacular from both levels. The house was very clean and had plenty of amenities. Short walk to the Mountains to Sea Trail and Blue Rdige Parkway is close as well. Would highly recommend this property.
Beautiful, clean property with amazing views. Lots of amenities and easy access to the Mountains to Sea trail. Made for a wonderful family getaway.
The house is comfy and homey. Plenty of supplies for cooking and spending a few relaxing days in the mountains.
Had a great time in this beautiful house with an amazing view. Would come back again.
Nice house and very private location. Unfortunately guests before us left the house in a dire condition and took extra time to clean so we did not get into house until 6 pm. Parts of house seemed to have lingering pet odor. On bright side, the drive into Asheville takes you onto Blue Ridge Parkway which is beautiful. Lots of good hikes within 30 minutes of house. We loved Asheville especially the many excellent breweries (don’t miss Burial Beer Co.).
Fantastic rural property set in a wonderful forest.
Beautiful house with great views - very quiet and private. Hot tub & fire pit were awesome! House had everything we needed. Would definitely come back again!
We had an incredible time exploring the region while using this place as a base camp. The views from the hot tub and porch at sunset were incredible and we had a fantastic time. 100% would recommend this place to anyone.
Terrific time. All as advertised. Wonderful, very private property with great view. Will definitely return
Two couples traveled from WI to NC for a long weekend of hiking, food and adulting away from the kids. Blue Ridge Bliss was a great rental that I absolutely would book again. Thank you for having everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
A rare combination of terrific house and perfect setting. The house is remote enough to truly feel 'away', but still only 20 minutes from downtown Asheville--and less than 5 from all of the hiking and sights along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The finishes in the house are above what you might expect in a rental property, as well. Only real downsides are slow internet (hey, you're in the mountains) and the long unpaved driveway that can be a little iffy in rain or poor visibility. Not unsafe by any means, but something that can catch a city-slicker off guard. Highly recommend this house!
We had a wonderful stay at blue ridge bliss! The house was clean and comfortable. The views were amazing. We love all the family games available to play during our stay and of course the hot tub.
