Blue Dream: Dog Friendly Coastal Cottage

Location was great. They shoud be more accurate on distance of beach. It is not a 13 mins walk unless you are running. We are in good shape, and it was more like a 20-25 mins walk. The house was comfortable but can be cleaner and the backyard grass was overgrown. the outdoor cushions were dirty, so we needed towels to sit on. Just basic other stuff , like no dishwashing liquid, beach towels, mosquito spray and kitchen ware shortage.

We loved the home! Location was great, the home was super clean and has everything you needed including a doggie bowls in case you forgot your buddies. Very easy to reach when we needed and prompt. We loved it!

Nice one story home for a family w small children. Lived the dog friendly nature of this property. Within walking distance of the beach which was nice bc parking isn’t all that great on the island in July. Oak island is amazing and we will definitely be back to this property!

Blue dream had all the amenities that we could possibly need during our stay. The large kitchen was great for cooking together and the bedrooms are very spacious and the beds and pillows are super comfortable. Its only two blocks from the beach and not far from some fantastic restaurants and shops. Be sure to book the golf cart before your stay if you would like to use it.

We loved staying here. Very dog friendly. Close to the beach and shops. Peaceful all the amenities you'll need. We'll be staying again soon.

The house had all the amenities we would need, everything was very well stocked, even beach chairs, very nice layout for all of us, we never felt cramped

Needed to get away for a few days. Place was good. Good location, beds and couches were uncomfortable but otherwise a great place.

The house has been renovated recently, which was very nice! We loved the proximity to the beach access(only have to cross the one busy road). If you have need for an easier access, you only need to go one street over as others in the guestbook had suggested. We had a great trip and everything went smooth!

We absolutely loved our time staying at this cottage. It was on a quiet street and walking distance to the beach. It was very clean and very cute inside. It was a perfect space for myself, husband and two small kids. The host was quick to respond and provided great communication throughout our time there. We enjoyed ourselves so much we ended up staying an extra night. Highly recommended!

House was very roomy, good location, short drive to the beach, room for my husband to work from home while I stayed on beach, dogs loved it (provided stuff for them as well) close to everything.
