Stayed Oct 17, 2025Fantastic place for our group. Beautiful rooms. Great location. The ladies are planning to come back next fall. Could use some updates with the posts that are below the upper deck on the building, none of them seemed secure.

Stayed Sep 28, 2024We do love staying at this place w/our group. Last year there was firewood to enjoy the outdoor firepit. This year we didnt have any. Truly my only complaint. Great place.

Stayed Aug 7, 2024The Blue Door inn was a great place to stay for me and all my groomsmen the night before my wedding. There was 10 of us so a few guys had to share beds but it worked out fine. We enjoyed sitting around the campfire at night and making breakfast in the morning. Only negative thing was the fire wood they provided was way too big to be used to start a fire. They were also out of lighter fluid. Quick trip wasn’t too far away though.

Stayed Jul 19, 2024I didn’t appreciate that there is a very active railway right through downtown Alma. The trains paired with a very authentically old building with quirks and squeaks made for some long nights with little ones. Communications and checkin went well

Stayed Jul 4, 2024Our group of 11 which included 5 kids had an amazing long weekend getaway at the Blue Door Inn! There was lots of room to spread out and the outdoor spaces were great! The town is absolutely adorable. The trains were loud but we were expecting that and it didn’t really bother us, in fact the kids loved it! I highly recommend the Blue Door Inn.
