Rental License # STR2022-11

THE SPACE
Parking: Due to the location on a busy street, extra care is needed when exiting the driveway.
Traffic noise: The street can get very busy/loud at times with traffic, especially on the weekends in the summertime. If you are a light sleeper we recommend having a white noise app on your phone or bringing a sound machine.

DOWNSTAIRS
The large, full kitchen is recently updated with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is fully-stocked with all the equipment you need to make a home-cooked meal. You bring the food!
- Drip coffee maker and french press (no keurig/pods)
- Eat-in breakfast bar seats 3
- Family-style dining table seats 8 people
- Coffee, tea and sugar provided
- Salt/pepper and olive oil provided

Our wood-paneled parlor room has comfy couches and a smart TV to stream your favorite channels. Listen to the radio on our vintage 1961 Magnavox console. Grab a book, play a game or simply relax and chat with friends.

The Coral Room has an open closet for coats & clothes and a pull-out couch that serves as an additional sleep space (note: there are no doors to this room). Kid-friendly games, record player and books are in the cube storage. Access to the 1/2 bath.

**Being a quite old 2-story building, Miss Myrtle's temperature can be a little tough to regulate and she tends to be cozy upstairs and cool downstairs. During winter, we recommend bringing slippers and a comfy robe/sweatshirt to wear while hanging out downstairs. Every room has vents which can be toggled to change the airflow to your comfort.

OUTSIDE
- Large back deck with outdoor patio seating available in summer
- Gas grill
- Grassy, fully-fenced backyard

UPSTAIRS
Bedroom 1:
- Large room with tuft and needle king-sized bed, 32 smart TV, desk, and full-length mirror
- Spacious en suite bathroom has whirlpool tub, shower, hair dryer and a walk-in closet

Bedroom 2:
- Large room with tuft and needle king-sized bed, 32 smart TV and closet
- Private access to outside balcony, bistro table and 2 chairs
- Connects to an adjoining bathroom with shower/tub, hair dryer and full-length mirror (this bathroom connects to the 3rd bedroom)

Bedroom 3:
- Small & cozy with tuft and needle queen-sized bed, 32 smart TV & large closet

Laundry Room:

*This home is not wheelchair accessible.

The house was as advertised. Very clean and a short drive to downtown. Younger people would find it a nice walk. As 70 year olds we chose to drive! Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were updated. It is an older home so there is a very steep set of stairs to get to the second level. Hosts were very responsive to any concerns.

Great location, photos are very accurate, space was clean, it is loud from the busy street but the host was very clear on that from the start. I appreciated the host clearly communicating to us in a timely fashion. She let us know Lumber Jack days was going on so it might be busier than usual. Beds were comfortable. Would recommend!

The house, and host Emily, were wonderful. 5 of us, and the house was perfectly equipped to make us all very comfortable. Beds were comfy, bathrooms great, 3 sitting rooms, living areas. Great kitchen/dining room table. Perfect to walk to all downtown stores and restaurants. Loved it. Looks like great outdoor space that we'd like to come back in summer and enjoy!

Miss Myrtle was a perfect house for our family gathering. This historic house was clean, warm and tastefully decorated. The fully functional kitchen, with seating for 8 at the dining room table was comfortable for our family meals, playing games and puzzle races. The upstairs had three bedrooms with 2 baths. The master has a walk-in bathroom with jacuzzi. The others shared a jack and Jill bathroom. The 4 th bed was a pullout couch, although the half bath was conveniently located. The stairs leading to the upstairs were a bit steep, although typical for this style Historic home. Miss Myrtle was conveniently located only blocks away from Stillwater's downtown. We all walked to shop, and eat at local restaurants. The owners of Miss Myrtle were very accommodating and available during our three night stay.

Nice house. Older house but nicely remodeled keeping the old town architecture feel with updated amenities. Nice and close to downtown. The town was very busy with an art fest but the river so the street buy the house was very busy so you had be careful pulling out onto the street. One thing to be aware of is that the stairs going up to the bedrooms could be difficult for the elderly or less mobile. Overall an excellent stay at this house.

Emily and Ryan were great! They kept in contact with us when storms were in the area. They were responsive to any question we had. Miss Myrtle was perfect for our occasion. We were there for my son's wedding. My daughter and her boyfriend stayed with us as well. There was plenty of room to work throughout the week, plenty of room to host our friends and relatives at night their to celebrate with us. Miss Myrtle was an ideal spot to stage and build reception and wedding items. The location was ideally located to the wedding venue at La Pointe and walking distance from the nightlife in Stillwater. Highly recommend Emily, Ryan and Miss Myrtle!

My bridesmaids and I stayed here during my wedding weekend. It was the perfect place to get ready, hang out, and enjoy our time together. The house itself is adorable, and has everything you need for a fun weekend. It’s a short walk to downtown and made everything about our wedding run super smoothly. I loved my stay!

Emily made everything about the experience easy, as she was extremely responsive when we had a couple of questions. Everything was clean and comfortable and we loved all of the little touches, such as the history of the property and all of the Myrtle drawings on the wall. The property was also very close to everything and it helped make our friends weekend so special. I would definitely stay here again!
