- Parking is limited to two (2) cars maximum.
- No docking available at the property.
- Lake Lure will be undergoing a drawdown starting January 1st, 2024 through the first quarter of 2024(March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet has been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season.

Beautiful, comfortable property. We especially loved the convenient lake acces, kayaks, and peddle boat. Great location for relaxing on the property, boating or hiking and mountain biking nearby. Would definitely stay again.
The stay was very comfortable except for the steps to the house and from the house to the water. House was very clean, boathouse and boats not so much.
The house had everything necessary to enjoy a Lake Lure getaway. The kayaks and floaties were perfect, and even in July the hot tub was terrific. Yes the carpets on the stairs and downstairs were stained and there were bugs on the outside of the screened porch, and the parts of the property we did not spend time in could be tidier. But none of this detracted from a great house, in a great location. Overall a fun lake house and great for our quick 3 day getaway
Nice place, good dock and tons of water toys. Water pressure was terrible. Couldn’t use any of the showers.
Enjoy the home in the dark on the lake immensely great fishing right off the dock kayaks were lotta fun beds very comfortable. No Ross day was a big hit. Only picking items would be too much chlorine in the hot tub and the steps to the back and front are slippery when wet, and maybe could use a little hedge trimming around some of the bushes that overhang the walkway but other than that, a very accommodating home, and comfortable, we would rent again
Nice location with well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Access to dock is only via downstairs bedrooms. I would recommend a good power wash of the outside of the porches and dock chairs.
Overall everything was great except the carpet, it has stains everywhere and just looks terrible. I would consider replacing it with something more durable and less unsightly.
Property was great. Plenty of towels, beds were comfy, plenty of extras in the kitchen. The paddle boat and jacuzzi were wonderful. The only thing that would have been nice was if the outside areas had been swept up and cleaned up a bit and the boat and kayaks and floats had been cleaned. All in all it was very nice weekend getaway.
We would visit again.
Nice house. Comfortable master bed. Wonderful hot tub. The stove doesn’t work but the toaster oven did. Overall we had a great weekend.
Like I said, the location was great, right on the lake . We traveled with my spouse and 6 year old and a set of grandparents and we all fit . We enjoyed the hot tub . There were a few hiccups like there was only one paddle for multiple kayaks. That was resolved when I reached out to the management and then told me to look in the locked storage shed . Another issue was right before checking in we got a notification that the pocket door to the master bedroom and bathroom didn’t work so that was irritating . We were just traveling with family so it wasn’t a huge deal but if you actually wanted privacy I wouldn’t stay here . It seemed more like they tell you last minute rather than actually take steps to fix it . Other minor issues were the tv in the bunk bed wouldn’t work and there was no dishwashing detergent. Overall the place was cute and worked for usI just wouldn’t necessarily stay again. Every issue we had we just reached out and we were able to get a response and solution pretty quickly. Our biggest issue of all was the boat company ( Lake Life) that we rented from which Yonder is partnered with . The boat was dropped off at the cabin, which was great . It says the hours are 8am-8 pm but they were late dropping it off so we were standing there waiting for someone that came like an hour and a half late. And then they didn’t tell us that the Marina gas station closes at 5:30 ( we showed up at 5:45) which means they then charge you an extra fee for them to fill it up for you . They also didn’t pick up the boat until 8:30 am TWELVE HOURS LATER THAN THEY SAID ( which is why they were also late dropping it off to us… see how that works?). The guy rang our doorbell and then walked through the cabin in his muddy boots. These things are transparency issues to me which is why I was very disappointed. You can rent a boat anywhere, what you’re really paying for is customer service and that was terrible.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house definitely needs some updating - very basic things that would go a long way like fixing some doors/paint. Even trimming the bushes on the steps down so they don't hit you each time you walk down the stairs. The house just feels tired from an upkeep standpoint. But the location was nice and we enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboat. It's close to grocery and restaurants too. We would consider renting agin and hope that a few things can be done to improve the condition.
We loved this charming cottage in a quiet cove on the lake. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was clean and comfortable. Great place to just relax.
The space was adequate for our family and is listed as advertised, but it would have been served well with a bit of property maintenance. The space was very clean and fully equipped but really needed a good power wash outside. There were so many cobwebs and leaves that it detracted from the view. We actually had to spend our first morning sweeping up the dock so we could take advantage of the dock. The prior occupants had left all of the rafts and chairs scattered over the dock with beer cans left in the cup holders. That's not the property's fault but we did have to clean up to enjoy. The queen bed downstairs has such a large dip in it that I am grateful my son was the only one sleeping in the bed. The management group was very responsive in answering our questions prior. We loved that we could bring our dog with us!
Great place on the lake! Loved the kayaks and fun paddle boat.
Overall the property was a great place to stay for a weekend at the lake. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay at Lake Lure!
Nice weekend getaway!!
Overall happy with our sayt. The house is right on the lake and had a beautiful view. The kayaks and paddle boats were pretty dirty and full of insects but my partner was willing to scrub them out and empty the water in them. We loved the hot tub! The house was generally clean but the master bedroom comforter had what appeared to be ketchup on it and was generally dingy which prompted us to clean all the bedding. But it was otherwise comfortable and quiet, which is what we were looking for!
Overall very nice stay, we would probably stay there again. It is a bit removed from the towns of Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened room that's where we spent most of our time. It sure would be nice to have the lift working to get things from the parking area down to the main floor, but then I'm sure you get that all the time and understand there are probably some restrictions that are associated with that. You might want to consider a different type of lock for the downstairs, having to locate a key isn't concucive to escape in an emergency. I believe we had a visitor or two at night rumaging through the trash, again not an issue for us just a heads up. We do appreicate you making and exception with the dogs allowing all 3 small dogs to stay I believe they enjoyed it as much as we did. We really like this area the motorcycle riding was great, we enjoy Burntshirt Winery and come there often we also hiked to the falls. Again we enjoyed the cabin and the areaa and would recommend it to others.
Enjoyed our stay as a family and we'll definitely be back
This property was very dog friendly! We really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean. The only small downside was that the lake toys (kayaks and paddle boat) were too dirty to use.
