Everything was just perfect! I absolutely loved the decor. My guest on the other hand...lol. Only thing had issue with was the lock on the front door & that was operator error (me) We will be staying again for sure!

We had a fantastic time at the Black House Hotel! It was in the perfect location for walking to great bars and restaurants, had everything we needed for a great Fathers Day weekend, and by chance it also fell on Friday the 13th! We enjoyed the cafe multiple times a day, and definitely recommend both the cafe and the property!

The best location for Fountain Square. Great execution in theming of the rental that matches the attached cafe. Plenty of easy, free parking.

We came up from Texas and met up with family to enjoy a local Christmas market. We love spooky season so this place was an awesome find! The littles in our group enjoyed all the littles details to look at (ages 2-7). The teens enjoyed the neighborhood and Blackhouse Coffee. Everything was clean and comfortable and our hosts were very accommodating. We had a great visit! ND

The theme was pretty cool, and the restaurants around the corner were very good. We enjoyed our stay. Only thing we were thrown off by was the amount of people they said it would sleep. The day Neds were leather and too small for an adult. the bunk beds were literally for maybe a 2-3 yr old. but the other uk bed was able to fit 3. just smaller than what we needed, and so some of us ad to get. a hotel, but it was a very cool house and theme. The parking was a bit sketchy very dark alley behind the property, so I def needed the boys to accompany the girls to their car. Besides that it was cool! Also, the coffee next door was good.

Super nice place on what seems like the up and coming side of Indy. Coffee shop is an added plus. Although we wish it was open earlier. We stayed with a group of students for FFA Convention and it was about a 10 minute drive to the convention center. Kids thought the house was cool.

My friends and I stayed here for my bachelorette trip and it was such acool experience! Best part is that we didn't have to decorate because the house spoke for itself. There was plenty of space, comfy beds, and it was quiet at night. The host was very responsive with all of my questions regarding parking. Highly recommend checking out the Sweet coffee shop that is attached!

We loved everything about this place. You couldn’t get much safer because it’s literally behind a police station. (We were in town for competition and the other family we knew there told us stories of crazy things they saw in the neighborhood where they stayed. We did not experience any of that in this location. We felt completely safe, even late at night.) There’s a dollar store across the street and their amazing coffee house is adjoined at the end of the building. The house was pretty much spotless and the beds were so comfortable. They really paid attention to every little detail. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and should we find ourselves in Indianapolis again we would definitely choose this location a second time. I cannot think of one single negative thing to mention.

I took my son and his three friends (all 13 years old) to NBA Allstar weekend in Indy. I picked this place based on proximity to downtown and the unique characteristics of the decor. We arrived super late and had no issues entering the space. Parking was super easy. The theme is super well done throughout...all the little details were picked up by the boys immediately. I would recommend this to any age group. Super cute and super clean. The Blackhouse Cafe is located in the front of the building and was the perfect start to each morning. Well Done!
