There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, enjoy each other or find a cozy nook to read. The game room was well utilized and the sound did not travel to other parts of the home. The flow from the well equipped kitchen/dining area to the living room just worked. The location was great, close to grocery stores and hiking trails. We would definitely stay here again.

We were in town for the long weekend for our teenagers basketball tournament. Perfect location from the various venues. We were also about 10min from the casinos. The highlights of the stay was the game room, the serene location and the fully equipped kitchen. As we were leaving the kids were already asking when we could return. That is the true sign of a good vacation

Easy driving access to all mountains in area. Game room is great downstairs. House was clean - kitchen well stocked with all you need. Plenty of space.m to spread out throughout the house.

The property is exactly as described. We didn't have difficulties with the check-in nd check-out. The game room and the hot tub are pure fun for the teens!

There was a ton of space for all of us to stretch out - gathering together or spending time alone. The kitchen was very well stocked and the fireplace was super nice. TV / internet were great. Everything was very clean when we arrived. Location in town was super convenient. Communication with the property management firm was easy and efficient. Two issues I would point out - if you're planning to sleep on the bunk beds in the game room, be aware that there's quite a bit of noise from mechanical systems also housed in that room. Also, the garage is quite narrow and large SUVs might have a hard time getting in - ours was very tight and the other family didn't even want to try. Overall very much enjoyed our time here!

The property was perfect for my family to stay at. A lot of space and it was very clean. The game room was a huge hit for my family we all enjoyed it so much. Area is great, a nice quiet neighborhood and close to everything.We will definitely stay there again. The Property manager is #1 very good

Huge game room and family room with lots of games to entertain all of us. Big kitchen with all the stockings needed for our cooking and meals every day. 4 bed with 4 full bathrooms are rare to find. Also the house is very well kept and dedicated to details like a bottle of wine for guests, makeup remover for ladies, ... We also enjoyed the hot tub on the last day. We skied at Heavenly California side and it only took us 8 mins to get there. The neighborhood is also very nice to stay at. We would definitely come back!!!

Black Bear Villa property is a beautiful property nestled in the forest of South Lake Tahoe. We enjoyed our stay there and especially enjoyed the large spacious areas and the game room. We strongly recommend this property and would gladly stay there again.

We had an amazing stay at the Black Bear Villa in South Lake Tahoe! Our group of 9 found the house to be perfect, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The villa was spotlessly clean upon our arrival, which made us feel right at home. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free, adding to the overall convenience of our stay. We did encounter a minor issue with the garbage disposal, but the team at RnR was fantastic—they came out within a few hours and fixed everything. Their prompt and efficient service was much appreciated. We loved our stay so much that we're already planning to come back, hopefully during the winter months to experience the area in a different season. We highly recommend the Black Bear Villa to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in South Lake Tahoe!

Big issue - dishwasher in kitchen is NOT ATTACHED to the counter which is a big issue. Should be repaired!!! Backyard was not advertised correctly - did not show house behind! All other amenities great.

The area is beautiful and the weather is great. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting outside in the morning enjoying the weather. We are from Texas, and it will be boiling hot soon so the cold mornings were a welcome retreat. The kids enjoyed the game room at the house, and the house fit 10 of us comfortably. We were on alert for bears, so we tried to follow the directions for the garbage to a T. The house is minutes away from a grocery store and eateries, coffee shops. Also any beach you would like to try is within driving distance.
