In Williamsburg for Christmas and visiting family. They even set up a Christmas tree for us?
This was our second year at your property and it was another great stay. The location is perfect and we will hopefully be back for a third year in 2024.
The house was in a perfect location, away from all the busyness and traffic of Traverse City, but close enough to enjoy everything with a 15 min drive. Location was very clean. Looking forward to future trips.
Stayed to take kids and grandkids to Great Wolf Lodge for the day. The house was very nice and had everything you could need. It was clean, a lot of room, beautiful table we were all able to eat meals together. Everyone had there own bed and a lot of room for the kids to play. The hot tub was a nice bonus. Much better than staying at Great Wolf Lodge and was a close distance to just go for the day, along with in the evening taking a trip down the road to Turtle Creek casino. Everything was easy and made for a perfect getaway.
We have such a great weekend up north! We enjoyed staying at Bliss Creek Cabin
The house worked for what we needed it for. We liked the fire pit, grill and hot tub. The bath tub didnt drain at all so we couldnt really use it but the host was responsive and said it would get fixed. Only other note is that the house had a musty/moldy smell so i assume the basement is wet so they could maybe use a dehumidifier. Overall its a nice 4 bedroom home on a secluded private lot but not far from traverse city, torch lake etc.
Our group enjoyed the house very much. There was ample room for us and the neighborhood was very quite. It was a nice place to return to after a long day at the horse show. We would love to return next summer.
Out group of 8 friends were very fortunate to be able to stay here as a launching point for our annual golf trip. The location is perfect for being close to everything in or near town you would want to do, while having a quite and private setting for hanging out at the house. We were also pleasantly surprised to find out Ubers were available when needed. Overall an absolute 10/10 experience ⭐️
We had a fantastic time. We highly recommend it!
Stayed here for my Bachelorette party - only 20min from downtown. I mean this in the best way possible - the photos don't do this place justice! Such a cozy living room with plenty of beds and space for a queen blow up mattress. Super clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a great bonus! Great communication from the host as well. Highly recommend and would stay here again.
Very nice stay, quiet area at the end of the road surrounded by trees. House was very nice inside, accommodated all of us very well. Highly recommend staying here and will definitely book with them again.
This place was great for our family gathering. Plenty of beds and plenty of room for the kids to run around outside. The house is removed from the hustle of busy streets, but super close to a lot of things to do. We hope to one day return.
5 day stay close enough to GR for a quick trip. Quiet nestled in the woods, but Traverse City is close enough to enjoy.
We brought the entire family up for a winter weekend. The older ones skied at Schuss Mountain, only 30 minutes away. The youngers went x-country skiing towing the littlest one (almost 2) on a sled. Mom and Dad enjoyed watching the fun and interacting with the grandkids playing board games, doing puzzles, and relaxing in the hot tub. The house was clean, ready when we arrived, and everything worked as advertised. Location was great for our needs but off the beaten path so just standing in the back yard with towering pines and only the sound of wind in the trees was awesome. We highly recommend this property!
We had a wonderful time at your house. It’s very close to everything yet the location feels like you were in the woods.
Bissell Creek Cottage is a beautiful home nestled in the woods, and stocked with everything you could possibly need while away. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, touring Traverse City, making s’more’s by the fire, and viewing the brightest stars we’ve ever seen. The deers even came by daily to say hello. We only had a couple questions, but Katy was always available. We will definitely return for another peaceful and relaxing vacation!!
House was very clean and communication was great! We would stay again for sure.
The property was spacious enough for all of us to be comfortable and have a bit of privacy when we wanted. Located about 10 miles from Traverse City, we were minutes from the hustle and bustle of that summer tourist town, but far away enough to be in the woods surrounded by peace and quiet. Management was very responsive to us. Hats off to Katy!!
The house was clean, updated, complete with all we needed. Management was available but not needed. We all had a great stay, no complaints.
Was beautiful quiet clean place
We loved the property! It was perfect for a quick Father’s Day celebration. Plenty of room and close enough to town if we needed to go there. I would definitely stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay for the most part. The home had plenty of room room for our family, the kitchen is well stocked so you can cook almost anything, the outdoors were nice and private. In the description it says that there is a nice wooded area that we had thought we would be able to wander and explore but there isn’t which was a little disappointing. The grill did not work at all, they must have known this because one was delivered while we were there. However, it had not been disclosed. So we used the oven and that made all the smoke detectors go off. There was sand everywhere…all the rooms, in the shower, in the hot tub. I understand sand can be difficult but the shower and floor should have been cleaner. However, they did have games and a comfy sitting area for movies. We were there to go visit family and the location was very nice, only a 30 minute drive to everything.
We really enjoyed our stay! The property owner was very attentive and responsive to direct messages. The home is beautiful and well-kept, super clean and updated. We submitted a comment to the property manager about the couch legs not being attached (and subsequently the couch tipping over) and they assured us it would be taken care of. There seemed to be some electrical stuff happening (flickering lights in the kitchen, living room, and master bedroom) but other than that, the home was wonderful! We would definitely stay there again. My favorite part was the luxury bedding in the master room. I slept like a BABY the entire time we were there. Thanks for hosting us Katy! We really enjoyed our time there!
The area was very quiet and comfortable. The house was exceptionally clean. We had a very relaxing time.
