The downstairs area consists of a fully self-contained kitchen equipped with all the essentials you may require. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed with plenty of storage space to tuck all your things away and access to the bathroom. The bathroom has a shower and double vanity then there is a separate toilet. There are two more bedrooms upstairs also, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The upstairs bathroom consists of shower, vanity and toilet.
Outside of the house is a very large grassed back yard, great for the kids or fur babies to run around in. The backyard is not fenced though so you will need to bring a lead with you to tie your dog up at night if he/she is coming on holiday with you.
There is ample space for parking even if you are bringing your boat with you.
Binningup beach is a popular holiday destination with the lively natural reef that runs parallel to the main beach, providing a protected area for swimming, snorkelling, diving or beach fishing. The reef also provides safe access to its natural boat ramp for launching off on your next fishing adventure. There is also 4WD access to the south of the main beach or north of Westcoast Drive, a popular beach for surfing in the winter months. Or if you prefer to bring the clubs, Binningup is well known for its stunning 9 hole golf course. Binningups general store sells all the necessities such as groceries, fuel, alcohol, ice, fishing gear and bait, free use of an air compressor for inflating tyres, DVD’s, magazines and takeaway food. Or if you prefer a meal out the Fishing Club is open Thursday and Friday nights which is located at the main beach foreshore with the pirate ship playground for the kids.
Binningup is located 1.5hrs south of Perth and is only 15-30 minutes to Australind, Eaton or Bunbury’s shopping facilities.
So if you’re looking to escape the rat race and enjoy some relaxing downtime, Binningup Beach Shack is the place for you.
The property was roomy and well equipped in a good location about 15 mins walk from the beach or only 5 or less mins drive. Property had a pleasant outdoor area and an outdoor shower as well as a grass area for the children to play on. Main issue: NO AIR CONDTIONING at all at the property. THIS SHOULD BE CLEARLY STATED ON THE DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY! We would not have booked this property in the summer if we are aware it had no AC. We stayed on a very hot weekend and the house heated up, particularly the upstairs level, and took a long time to cool down, particularly on our second night when there was little breeze, so we got very little sleep. The fans were not sufficient in high temperatures. Also some of the fly screen doors could not be locked easily if you wanted to leave doors open at night for the breeze and so compromising security. The property was generally clean but had not had a 'deep clean' for a long time. wooden Venetian blinds were very dusty. Upper surfaces also dusty and windows had not had a clean in a long time. The property and a lot of fixtures were 'tired' and in need of repair or replacement including the BBQ, outdoor seats and other fittings. Shame the upkeep of this property was not better.
Very happy with the house and cleanliness
Airconditioning would have been nice. Disappointed no basic staples in the kitchen - e.g. salt and pepper, cooking oil
It is nice and close to the beach. Great place tostay
Great location, plenty of room for all, had a lovely time, real relaxing place
We had a lovely stay. Really comfortable place. Very well equipped kitchen.
It was a lovely stay at this house. The beds, couches and blankets were all clean and comfy. The bathrooms were clean and tidy. This property suited us as we had 7 kids running around who were able to use the stairs on their own and the house suited our needs- relax, have the kids close by, allow them to play outback when it wasnāt raining, make a fire to keep warm, make and prepare our own meals with mostly all appliances and utensils we needed. It felt homely with the cupboard supplies and appliances provided and if we used anything- we found it easier enough to go to shop to replace it. The walk and bike ride for kids down to the beach playground was fantastic when the kids needed to get out and expend their energy. A very comfortable accomodation for us. Thank you
Perfect holiday beach shack suited for large family. Great amenities, lovely quiet location. Beautiful garden, backyard for the kids to play. Walking distance to beach and closed to local surrounding towns for a bit of sight seeing.
Place was well set out and very clean. Only problem was lack of tea towels. Bit raggedy and remote controls had no batteries in them. Washing machine wouldnāt spin and dryer wouldnāt work. Would definitely go again. Surprised how much was supplied
Just had a couple of days here. Very peaceful and easy walking distance to the beach and a good general store again walking distance. Take away food available also.
Stair case is very dangerous, limited who could sleep upstairs, maintenance of property is not kept up, doors/security doors don't close properly, flyscreens don't shut properly. Over all very run down, problem with ants inside. Needs a good clean inside and out.
Nice cosy place, amazing beach
Great location, clean and tidy but couldnāt work washing machine.
Loved how close to Perth it is and a quite safe beach there as well. Thank you
Great value just wouldnāt recommend for babies and toddlers as staircase and gaps in railings was challenging and wheels on beds slipped away from headboard but fantastic for all other age groups
A few things could improve the property. Hard to lock the front door without a handle. Smoke smell from wood fire (charcoal still in there).
Our group have rented other holiday houses in Binningup over the years, but those particular ones were no longer available. This house was a bit smaller than we thought from the photos on the web site, but overall, it had everything we needed. A few little hiccup's when we first arrived (blown light globes), but spares were found so it caused no problems. Once again Renee was excellent in correspondence regarding booking the house etc. Peter G.
Great spot to stay with the family. Relaxed property that felt like you were home. Close enough to Bunbury to enjoy the activities there, but Binningup had enough to keep everyone occupied away from the tourist trail.
Very nice host. Quirky place with lots of beds. I suspect would be very hot in summer with no AC but just perfect for a winter stay. Recommend for sure.
Went with friends just to hang and relax . Was very relaxing and homely. We all enjoyed the space. Could do with a few repairs and updates. But would stay again.
We have just spent a wonderful 3 nights at this property. The experience it self overall was very positive. We had to contact the owner once and she responded almost immediately with a solution. The one thing I will mention is to just be aware that the driveway is shared with the property on the left and we had a situation where someone had blocked us in for a few hours. The property was fully self contained with plenty of kitchen essentials. Perhaps the one thing that was missing was WIFI. In this modern world the inclusion of WIFI should almost be mandatory. It didn't detract from the experience at all but would have been a nice little cherry on top. Overall we had a wonderful time and hope to come back one day.
Binningup hosted our annual cousins & kids getaway, this year we added the Xmas in July theme. House was great, space for everyone and fully equipped, fabulous location. Note to my for coffee addicts, take ALDI pods!!!!
We were shocked at the house quite different from the pics. The property was poorly managed. The bed linen was smelling. There was left over food on the balcony, which my dog found. There were no blinds on the back door making it colder. The property was beautiful, could be better with a lot of care. But we had a good time.
Our second stay at the quirky green cottage in Binningup, its basic but has all the ingredients to make it a fun stay. Thank you
We were a senior group of 9. Early May a good time to visit. Patiently manoeuvred the Spiral staircase. Comfortable beds, kitchen and dining area was adequate. L shape lounge seater, uncomfortable and smelly.
Our family loved our stay here. Great BBQ area & lawn. Downside was no bedside lamps except broken one with a missing glass pane in the shade & shattered CFL globe (luckily I found it before the kids cut themselves).
