This spacious ski lodge is well-suited for larger families or groups with 2,750 sq. ft. of exceptional living space spread over three levels. The living area exudes elegance and style, accentuated by a stone clad propane fireplace, shuffleboard table, rustic wood finishes, plush mountain décor and large windows that bring Big Sky right in! For summer BBQ’s and starlit nights, the outdoor deck provides a great place for friends and family to gather. Four spacious bedrooms provide a quiet retreat at the end of the day after a plunge in the hot tub. Ski Access:

Conveniently located near the foot of the Bear Back Poma Lift, Black Eagle Lodge offers superb ski access suitable for all levels of skiers. Bear Back Poma anticipated open date is early December, but is dependent on snow conditions. The property is not ski-in/out until the Poma opens.

Ski Out:
Step out the garage, and turn right following the road to connect to the Bear Back Poma. At the top of the Poma, you will ski a groomed access run to Ramcharger and Swift Current in the base area.

Ski In:
Intermediate and Expert can ski Silverknife to Bear Back Poma. Follow the Poma down, but don't go all the way to the bottom. You will see ski tracks to the left where people have cut to the left and back towards the units. This will make it easier to get closer to the garage of the unit. Beginners should ski out the Summit Hotel and then ski the road back to the unit.
Note: During periods of melting you may need to walk from the unit approximately 75 yards to the Poma Lift.

    This was our second visit to Big Sky for our family of 6. Our kids are older and this place was great to give everyone their space but enough room to gather together in large living space. Home was well very clean with great beds, linens and lots of pillows and blankets. We appreacaited the humidofirs in every bedroom and used them each night, Living space was exactly what we needed to lounge after a day on slopes to watch movies but the real winner was the shuffleboard table. Tournaments every night keep everyone occupied! Smart TV allowed us to login Netflix and Amazon to watch movies. Used hot tub on porch every night. Kitchen was large and stocked with cooking supplies. We did not really cook but enjoyed eating out every night. Last year we did the sleigh ride at Lone Mountain which was fantastic and this year we did the yurt dinner. Recommend both as an experience but sit on top of the cat to get full experience. Ski out was a T bar lift and about a 5 min. walk. Ski in was a difficult blue or a quick ski from the base along the road. It is a 2 min drive to drop off party if needed. Kids walked to resort base village some nights -- 5 min. walk. Great communication from hosts and highly recommend this location.
