Stayed Sep 26, 2024The views are amazing and the amenities are fabulous. However, the furnishings throughout the unit need cleaning and/or updating. The bed in the main room was very squeaky, the frame was dirty and it was super uncomfortable. There is an ottoman in there that looks like something nasty spilled on it. There are cracks in floor tiles inside the unit and on the balcony, which also has no furniture so you can’t sit out there. Some walls and door frames have peeling paint or chips in many places, the piano has broken or missing keys and the TV in the second bedroom doesn’t connect to the WiFi or have cable on it. There is also no TV in the living area. Although not something the owner can control, there is a frequent strong marijuana smell in the hallways and coming from the carpet on the elevator floors. I did like the fact that the owner secured parking at a garage about a 5-7 minute walk away so that you won’t have to pay the $34 valet fee with no ins and outs. The valet people are aggressive and almost wouldn’t let us park there just long enough to unload our bags at check-in. Lastly, deliveries go to the basement loading dock area which was very inconvenient.The communication with the host was great and I am sure this unit is frequently booked. I understand the wear and tear. I’d recommend that the owner take it off the market for a few weeks to visit and refurbish it so that renters receive the luxury experience it promises.

Stayed Jan 23, 2026My daughter spent her 21st birthday here with friends and I haven't heard the end of it since. Truly an amazing place with one of the most amazing views! The pictures don’t even do it justice.

Stayed Jan 8, 2026pool was not heated but the hot tub was nice, the pool was only open 3 days a week at that time.plenty of things to do in the area and lots of restaurants.

Stayed Dec 4, 2025The view was amazing. The check in process left a lot to be desired. The person listed on the initial email was not correct. We were given 4 other numbers. The code to the door didn't work once we actually got to the room. The place needs some maintenance/refresh (paint, care).

Stayed Apr 4, 2025It was great! Indira our host was very friendly and polite. The cleaning lady was also nice. We got there early and they let us go in which was very nice of her. The condo was beautiful and clean with amazing views. We had a great time.

Stayed Jan 4, 2025The unit had incredible views and an excellent location. It was comfortable but had a third-world feel in the furnishings, decor, and maintenance. Lighting was too bright in the dining room or too dim in the living room and kitchen. And the kitchen faucet sprayed upward as well as down. Not enough towels, with some threadbare or creepy, and the master shower control was difficult.But there were other major issues. Our check-in person could not be reached, so we sat around the lobby with no access to the unit. There was no management number to call, so we could only message through Vrbo (whose customer service phone number was not working). We did eventually get a reply and someone else was sent to get us in the unit.Instructions were scarce or wrong. It said we needed a parking pass for the garage, but that turned out to be outdated. I was finally able to call the manager, who gave me correct instructions. We received two fobs, only one of which worked on the elevator. Getting the other one fixed required a runaround to the front desk and then a security office.There were no instructions on access to the pools, which became quite an ordeal. Super tight security is understandable, but we were hassled each time for not each having an ID and pass on every phone, and were told only two guests could get one (we were four). That said, the pools were absolutely incredible!We'll see if this gets published as written...

Stayed Dec 26, 2022My family and I go to Miami a few times a year. My father’s favorite place to stay is at the Icon. This condo was one of our favorites as far as how it fit the needs of our family. Everything was great except, unfortunately, we had no air conditioning the entire trip. Even in December, it is hot in Miami. We had to sleep with the windows and balcony doors open to hopefully have a (warm) breeze. However, the owner was in contact with us daily, and I honestly believe he was doing his best to fix the A/C. During the week between Christmas and NYE, I know it was difficult to find a new unit, labor, and to coordinate with the building to do their part of the work. He also has offered to refund a percentage of our rent, which is very fair. As long as the A/C gets fixed, this condo is perfect and I would absolutely rent it again.
