Catch your breath…and let nature take it away again...

Private and serene, our beautiful lakefront home is your idyllic retreat nestled among the rolling hills and breathtaking forests of the Berkshires. Inside and out, you’ll find magnificent views that invite you to stillness and wonder, with the lake’s mirror surface reflecting vibrant colors every season—from the rich greens of summer to the fiery reds and oranges of autumn and the crystalline blues of a magical winter.

Make the most of our outside space, enjoying all the amenities your superhost has provided. Our private dock and private stone beach with loungers are perfect for morning coffee, fishing, or simply watching the sunset. Nap in the hammock or head out on the lake. We have stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, and a pedal boat (as well as life vests) available for our guests to use. When evening comes, gather around the outdoor fire pit for stargazing and s’mores.

Inside, the house is a charming blend of rustic and modern design. Large windows face the lake, allowing natural light to flood the rooms and offering uninterrupted views of the water and the surrounding trees. The warm, inviting interior features burnished hardwood floors, exposed beams, and a brick fireplace in the living area, as well as plenty of comfortable seating and harmonious, understated décor throughout.

The recently updated and very well-equipped kitchen offers new appliances, plenty of counter and storage space and a peninsula with seating for four. It’s the perfect setup for conversation and cooking gourmet meals together, which you can enjoy at the two dining tables inside or the screened-in picnic table outside. Sliding glass doors lead to the furnished deck, complete with bbq grill and stairs that connect you to our outdoor amenities. The washer and dryer, available for your use during your stay, are conveniently located on the first floor.

With so much space to spread out, every person in your group can spend downtime the way they like best—whether it’s lazy afternoons reading or daydreaming on the sunporch facing the lake or an evening hang out in the finished basement. The basement is fully outfitted for fun, with couches, TV, games, pool table, air hockey, bar table and a mini fridge. It also has direct access to a lovely outside covered area with additional seating and a gas firepit for cozy ambiance.

Upstairs, you’ll find two newly renovated and sparkling clean full bathrooms: one featuring a tub and the other, a walk-in shower. And at the end of a full day enjoying the clear mountain air, you’ll get the best sleep ever in our three serene bedrooms, outfitted with comfortable mattresses and linens, as well as air conditioning and standing fans for your comfort.

Come share in the bliss of the beautiful Berkshires. We look forward to welcoming you!

We rented this house because of its proximity to the Otis Ridge Ski Resort. It was clean, cozy, and stocked with every single pantry item you can think of. Thank you for making our first family ski trip an amazing one. We'll definitely be back in the summer!

We have done a Girls Weekend in the Berkshires for the past 6 years & this house has it ALL. Beautiful views, sunsets, cozy sitting areas, CLEAN bathrooms & kitchen. Everything is labeled & well stocked. The Host was responsive & super helpful with things to do in the area. It is a bit of a drive to get to shops & restaurants, but we really didn’t feel the need to venture out. We got to relax & reconnect at this beautiful property. Fastest Girls Weekend -EVER. We hope to go back next year

Photos don’t do this house justice! The home is decorated with a cozy mid-century modern vibe, and the property itself is amazing—private, beautifully maintained, and set right on the water. The location couldn’t be better. We loved having so many water toys to choose from, including kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. Even our basset hound joined in the fun, thanks to the doggie-sized life vest provided for her very first swim.

This property is very clean, well equipped with kitchen equipment. The rooms are spacious with lots of seating. A dining table in the kitchen area and a table in the SIP for coffee/breakfast or any other meal. This area had tons of comfy couches for looking out at the lake playing or reading! The basement was fun at night where we played air hockey and pool and watched football. There is another table where you can have a meal in another screened in area on the basement level outside as well as a propane fire pit with a large couch and comfy chairs. If you prefer a wood fire there is a lovely fire pit where we roasted marshmallows for s’mores and another patio set next to the fire pit. The dock was very nice where we sat at night star gazing! We kayak’d and paddle boarded. My granddaughter played on the private beach in front of the house and went in the water in her swan tube! This house was perfect for our family to have fun and relax.

We had a wonderful stay. This property is perfect. The house is beautiful, clean, and well appointed with everything you could possibly need--even sharp kitchen knives (never seems to be the case in vacation rentals)! A game room in the basement offered pool, air hockey, and a rec space separate from the main living space. The lake front is lovely--plenty of dock space with Adirondack chairs for lounging, a pea stone beach with chaise lounge chairs, kayaks and paddleboards, and grass for lawn sports or laying in a hammock. The property is remote enough to feel like a getaway, but an easy /- 30 minute drive to Lenox, Lee, Stockbridge, and Great Barrington. We took easy day trips to Mass MOCA and the Norman Rockwell museum, and enjoyed excellent meals out in addition to cooking in the beautiful kitchen. In Becket itself is a charming and tasty little restaurant called the Neon Newt with good coffee, breakfast, and pastries. I would highly recommend this property for your Berkshires getaway. Hope to return!

We had a wonderful family vacation. The kids loved spending time swimming in the lake and the adults enjoyed canoeing, paddleboarding or just relaxing on the dock or any of the 4 separate outdoor seating areas! The house had more comforts than home with central air, huge living room with another living area just as big and comfy with spectacular views of the lake. Bedrooms were large, beds comfortable and with new sheets, towels, blankets and throws. Two large TVs streaming great shows and movies, a pool table and air hockey table in a game room downstairs. Beautiful, well-equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer. There wasn’t a single thing that we needed that wasn’t already there. My daughter even baked a cake and we celebrated two family burthdays as there was a stand mixer and every imaginable pan you could possible need. Check-in was simple and the owner was incredibly responsive.

We just returned from a wonderful week at this lake house in Becket, MA to celebrate our Father’s birthday, and we could not have been more pleased with the experience. Our family of eight had plenty of room to relax, connect, and enjoy everything this beautiful property had to offer. The lake itself is absolutely serene, quiet, pristine, and limited to pontoons and paddle-powered boats, which made for peaceful days fishing off the dock, swimming, and exploring by kayak. The sunsets each evening were breathtaking and became a highlight of our stay. The home was comfortable, spacious, clean, and well appointed. The kitchen, bath, and pantry were all well stocked. The layout provided ample common space for our group, including a living room, a four-season room, a screened-in porch, a comfortable basement gameroom, and a lovely outdoor patio … not to mention the dock and the beach. We made full use of both the gas grill and the fire pit.The owner was thoughtful, responsive, and made sure everything was in place for a smooth and enjoyable stay. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and most importantly Dad was happy. We recommend this property without hesitation … it is a gem for anyone looking to relax and recharge.

This was the perfect home for a family gathering. There were lots of spaces for being together and lots of ways to have alone time. We could have fit even more than 8 sitting and eating together at the same table. The ones who enjoyed swimming swam every day, The ones who liked water toys kayaked a bd paddle boarded and peddle boated. When it rained we had plenty to do inside. The kitchen is well equipped and the host was very available.

This house is ideal for family and friends to gather. The house is one of the best equipped that I've ever rented, especially the kitchen. (One exception was there were no kitchen towels). We cooked twice for 13 people, and indoor and outdoor (even a screened in table) spaces allowed everyone to eat comfortably. There is space to come together and space to be alone. The front room with its view of the lake was a particular favorite. The kayaks were used frequently and enjoyed. It was too cold yet for swimming, and we were disappointed at that as it looks like a great spot. The wifi allowed the young adults to work and the connectivity was good with four people working at once. The weather was good, so we spent most of our time in outside endeavors, but the basement pool table was great - there's also an air hockey table down there and comfy sofas for spectators. The location of the house is good - we made frequent trips into Lenox and Great Barrington. There are some good restaurants nearby in both places. There's also a huge outlet center right down the road if that's your thing. Finally, the host, William, was wonderful. He had good advice before we went, responded to questions immediately, and was just a really nice guy,

We had a fantastic time. Unbeatable views, very comfortable sofas and squashy chairs to relax, and plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is fully stocked with high-quality bakeware, knives, and anything you might need for food prep. My kids (6 & 10) loved the direct access to the lake and we all enjoyed looking for wildlife! I would book this property again in a heartbeat.

Outfitted with everything a guest could want or need, from a fully equipped kitchen, linens, and cozy afghans to marshmallows for the hot chocolate. Spacious house with lots of places to gather or spread out. Beautiful setting—snow covered frozen lake. We would love to return in warm weather to make use of the lakefront. Very responsive and considerate host.

I booked the weekend for my girlfriends birthday with a couple of her friends. The game room was a massive hit as was the propane fireplace outside. We also enjoyed watching the snow fall on the frozen lake. William was very responsive to messages and calls. We enjoyed our stay immensely and are hoping to come back in the summer

Amazing view!!!They thought of everything even things we didn’t think we wanted, right down to little things like motion sensing lights in the bathrooms. I’m a chef and cooked for my friends and I was surprised they had everything I needed. We are looking forward to coming back for another stay.

Our stay at the Berkshire Lakehouse was truly wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed, making it incredibly convenient for our group. The views were absolutely stunning—whether we were sipping coffee in the sunroom in the morning or winding down in the evening, we spent hours staring out at the lake, taking in the peaceful surroundings. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax, with cozy spots to unwind and larger areas perfect for group activities. We had so much fun playing pool and foosball, and there was enough room for everyone to enjoy without feeling crowded. The combination of comfort, entertainment, and natural beauty made this a perfect getaway. We couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and recharge. Highly recommend the Berkshire Lakehouse for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with plenty to do in the area year-round!

Exactly what we were hoping for and more! We loved our stay and had a great experience from start to finish. Bill is an exceedingly gracious and helpful host and his property is amazing. The house is spotless and decorated lovely—comfortable and classy. We were impressed by all the thoughtful touches throughout—especially the games room and super-equipped kitchen and fire pit. We had plenty of room to spread out and slept well in the comfortable bedrooms. The peace and quiet was like a slice of heaven. I don’t think I could ever tire of looking at the beautiful lake. (It kept distracting me from my book!) We are already talking about coming back the next time we need a break from the hamster-wheel of day-to-day life!

This lovely lakefront home property far exceeds expectations! Driving in and seeing the beautifully serene lake view, you can feel stress ebb away! This is definitely very rural New England at its best! Walking into the house, we immediately felt welcomed; we knew this was truly our vacation home-away-from home! Every room was nicely decorated with cozy furniture inviting you to relax. Appliances are top notch. (My favorite kitchen feature was the labeling of the contents in the kitchen cabinets) Bathrooms were pristine. The enclosed sun porch with its beautiful lake view and cozy furniture, was definitely the hit of our visit! Our hosts had clearly put themselves in the shoes of their guests, providing so many unexpected items in the kitchen and bathroom areas. As you can tell, we truly enjoyed our stay here. We will be back!
