Berkshires Home on 11 Acres w/ Pond & 2 Fire Pits!

This was our second trip here, and we can't say enough great things about this home. The property is comfortable, sprawling and secluded and yet close enough to Great Barrington, Stockbridge, and other nearby towns so you can dip in for dinner and groceries easily. 10/10.

Overall it was a good experience. Property is quiet and pretty. Queen bed had sheets that were too small and pillows are very sub par. Front porch area needs work and is weedy. Chairs are broken and pillows wet and mildew. Many of the cabinets were broken and misaligned. For the fee charged, guests expect a bit more luxury. Thanks for understanding. It would be nice to have 4 chairs in the porch. Not some high and low.

The house was very clean and kitchen fully stocked. Chris made sure there was firewood to make smores and recommended a beautiful hike. We enjoyed our stay and wish we had more time to explore the area.

This is our second time staying here and it just the most perfect house. We rang in the new year with friends and all our kids. The house is so cozy, we played games fireside and cooked dinner every night. During the day we explored Stockbridge, Great Barrington and Lennox. The location is perfect. We also went snow tubing at butternut mountain and bosque mountain. We woke up to snow, there is nothing better than a cup of coffee and those beautiful snow covered views. Thank you Chris and Jane! We can’t wait to return.

Nestled very quietly in the woods, this elegant home has everything you need for comfort.

Family holiday w/adult daughters. Beautiful home and property. Great layout accommodating multiple people. Bedroom/bath on three levels. Owners very helpful and responsive.

My family and I had a great trip while staying in this house. The kitchen had everything we needed, the home was clean, the property was fun to explore, and so peaceful! But not too remote where we feel too far from what we need. Nearby was Big Y grocery store, Athena’s restaurant, and the small beach on Center Pond which was all great, exceeded expectations, and within 15 min away. We definitely plan to come back again.

This is a house in a fabulous location! Very quiet – no street noise, only nature surrounds you; very private with beautiful landscaping. Great screened-in porch and sitting area in front. Very close to many great hikes. A convenient location to Stockbridge, Great Barrington, groceries.
