We stayed here over the holidays with six people and had a great experience. The home is well located, close to both town and the water, which made it easy to get around without feeling right in the middle of everything. The space was comfortably sized for our group and never felt cramped. The layout works well for spending time together, especially the large kitchen and main living areas, which were great for cooking, eating, and hanging out as a family. It’s clearly set up with gatherings in mind. The house was very clean and well maintained when we arrived, which we really appreciated. Everything felt cared for and in good condition. Being pet-friendly was also a big plus and made the stay much easier for our group. We didn’t get to use the yard much due to the typical pnw winter weather, but it’s easy to see how it would be a great space in the summer. Overall, this was a comfortable, clean, and convenient place to stay, and we’d happily consider it again for a group trip.

Overall pretty nice. Kitchen cabinets were dirty inside and there were a lot of old cans of food and old condiments in the refrigerator that should have been discarded. The blinds in the kitchen in particular were very dirty and some cords broken. Bathrooms needed more hooks for towels. Upstairs bathroom was very warm, floor heated which could be nice but it was hot out and the bathroom was too hot. Most places will have a small notebook with information about where to find certain things, how to adjust heat, etc. There is a rooster next door that woke us up way too early every morning! Beds were comfortable, location was great. Instructions on the TV would have been helpful also, but we did figure it out.

This is the second time staying here. I plan to use it next time I go visit, too. The house is well equipped, the location is great, and I can take my dog. The kitchen has everything I need and the outside grill area is really nice.

We stayed here with a group of five and loved everything about the house. It’s filled with interesting art and offers comfortable spaces for gathering. The kitchen is well-appointed with a gas stove and plenty of room to move around. There’s ample parking, and the home is tucked away in a charming neighborhood. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

This is a very enjoyable and unique property. We leased the house for Bellingham Race Week sailboat regatta. Master suite and bath are lovely…are up some stairs so please note detail that if considering property. But they are both worth the climb! Design cues in master bath and bedroom were interesting and even considering incorporating some of the ideas into a forthcoming remodel. Kitchen is lovely and range/fridge top notch. Yard is delightful. Recommend the property. It’s fun, unique and very nice. Plenty of parking. Very short drive into hot yoga, gym and marinas.

I've stayed at more pristine properties, but this one really fit the bill! It has a funky offbeat feel to it, lots of wood and stone, and a really comfortable feel to it. It's dog friendly, with a nice back yard. Be forewarned that is not fully fenced. I'm hoping the monster jet tub gets fixed eventually, but the showers are excellent! Cooking inside or out was easy, and I appreciated not having to buy spices for cooking! I plan to stay here again, it's been great!

Great spot for a weekend in Bellingham. Close-ish to town... bikeable in nice weather but not quite close enough to walk. Lots of parking and room in the house. Some cleanliness/broken things stood out to me. Several of the dishes had food stuck to them. I wouldn't dare touch the grill outside based on the condition it was in. The control panel on the bath tub was broken. But otherwise, it is a unique layout with fun decorations. We enjoyed our stay!

I thought I had rented a studio and it was an entire house. The house and kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. Coviently located to the airport Fairhaven Chuckanut and hiking. I had no problems at all while I was there. Cozy place with gas fireplace.

We loved the house, the design and layout, and especially the eclectic art. I felt like I would probably enjoy hanging out with the owners! The location wasn't within walking distance of much but it was a short drive to many, many options. Wife tried to open the blinds on the upstairs bathroom door and they just fell off. We replaced them but you might want to check that out. There was still a half-full cup of coffee with cream sitting on the kitchen counter when we arrived and the coffee maker was dirty and still had a filter with wet grounds but that was a quick clean and a forgivable oversight. Would definitely recommend, and would stay here again.

We used this house as a respite from moving our daughters into their new place in Bellingham. It was so nice to have this oasis to come back to after unpacking boxes & moving furniture! Just wish we’d had time to enjoy the yard! Our only complaint was that that amazing jacuzzi tub in the primary bathroom was not working. It would have been such a welcome relief.
