Mount Dora, Florida
This completely renovated 1955 Farmhouse is the perfect “home away from home” to retreat with family & friends. Waking up to the beautifully renovated kitchen w/ farm sink, catching the sunset while refreshing in the pool, enjoying morning coffee/ evening wine on the large back porch while listening to the birds sing are some of my favorite memories. The home is equipped with all the comforts of home. Fresh linens and towels along with extra blankets and pillows. Three different types of coffee makers including drip, French press and Keurig along with kitchen supplies necessary to create a nice meal to enjoy with family and friends.
Only few minute drive to Historic Downtown Mount Dora w/ quaint restaurants, shopping, farmers market & art festivals! Close to Publix and easy commute to theme parks!
We certainly enjoyed our stay! The house was immaculate, well supplied and very comfortable. The owner was very easy to communicate with and helpful regarding area attractions. The location is terrific, a great base for exploring Central Florida. Highly recommend!
We had an exceptional stay in Mount Dora with host Sarah! Her hospitality was outstanding, and she went above and beyond by lending us rafts for our trip to the springs. The experience was unforgettable, and we highly recommend staying with her. Thank you, Sarah, for making our trip so enjoyable!
the property as listed, a beautiful place. We were impressed with the details that Sara has. The time in the house was very please ant. I highly recommended it. Thank you Sara
Very comfortable house for family stay. Owner was close and answered questions regarding the property and nearby sites.
This property is fantastic, and so is Sarah! As we opened the door and saw that the home looked exactly like the pictures online, we were elated! This is the cutest property ever and is stocked with visitors in mind. We found everything we needed to prepare meals, get ready to start/end our day, and lots of information of things to do in the area. I have sent this property to my family and friends knowing they will love it and Mount Dora. Thank you Sarah for making our stay amazing!
My husband and I stayed here with our 3 adult children for a wedding in Mt. Dora. The house was so charming, clean, updated, roomy and comfortable. We loved it! The large back patio was really nice to open the french doors and enjoy the nice weather. It sits on a busy road, but it wasn't a problem for us. We really enjoyed and would definitely recommend it!
Do not hesitate booking this home! Sarah, the host, has done an incredible job with all of the details to ensure you'll feel right at home. The farmhouse style interior is beautiful with unique touches throughout the home. The huge, fenced backyard was a private bonus while we sat on the screened back porch to enjoy the wonderful weather. The home is conventially located near downtown Mt Dora where we spent a full day shopping. We made sure to visit the lighthouse while we were there. We also made the short drive to Clermont to visit the historic Citrus Tower (226' tall). Wow!!! Don't miss the views from the top or their signature orange creme latte from the coffee shop. We were fortunate to catch the downtown farmer's market while we were in Clermont, too. If you're looking for a historic home (read about its history) that's been lovingly restored with a farmhouse-style interior with love & attention given to all of the little details, then this is it. Sarah is a gracious host who exceeded any expectations we had. We were excited to find welcome goodies with a handwritten note, firewood for the firepit, & speedy responses to our endless barrage of questions. She's a superstar!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We were three older lady friends who came from Dunedin Florida and had a fun little getaway. We each had our own bedroom and thoroughly enjoyed the house we stayed in. There is an above ground pool in the yard which we did not use but it looked very inviting. There is some pretty landscaping around the backyard and a very nice screened-in porch where we spent several hours each day. The beds were comfortable and the owner was very helpful in explaining a few things that we had questions on. We are already talking about coming back next year and doing the same thing. The downtown has so many shops that we bought several Christmas presents and a few for ourselves!!
This property felt very comforting and relaxing when we walked in. It was very clean. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us and my granddaughter was thrilled to have her own twin bed. Sarah provided everything that we would possibly need. It would’ve been nice to stay longer if our plans would’ve allowed it. We didn’t get a chance to take advantage of the pool or fishing in the area. I would love to come back and see more of Mount Dora and I would definitely want to stay here.
