Victorian remodel in contemporary fashion. Very comfortable and quiet. Would have liked a place to set suitcases and maybe a guide for the television.
There were no curtains in house except one bedroom and a partial on one window in front, the backyard all torn up and had all kinds of stuff everywhere as well as partly poured patio. Doors would not work. Half eaten food in fridge and freezer. Left next day and told host about it who promptly told us we were wrong and others liked it without any remorse. What was done was done well but this was not ready for rent. Also we think that the house was Waaaay over priced,
There is no central heat which is stated in the description. We arrived during a cold spell. A cold spell in Leadville is really a cold spell. The house was freezing when we walk through the door. Not so pleasant. I'm not sure how the home owners keep the pipes from freezing. Checked in at 4pm, house was warming up by 10pm but still not cozy by any stretch of the imagination. There is a gas or propane fireplace in the living area which you can control. Wall heaters in the bedrooms, kitchen & bathroom which have no thermostats connected to them. There was another fireplace type unit in the bigger bedroom but the pilot light would not stay lit. It was useless. We used a space heater that was provided to supplement. Space wise, it's a comfortable house & I imagine the backyard is great in the summer. Once the snow storm cleared, the views were spectacular. Easy walk to restaurants & shops. The host is a property mngmt company. Everything is done via their app, including locking the door. It took awhile for me to figure that one out. Keyless entry did not work to lock the front door. I would probably stay in the summer once the memory of freezing thaws from my brain.
cute place. very clean and decently stocked. thick towels for once which is always a good sign. convenient (3 minutes) to the main street and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.
Cute, homey, clean, well equipped, and excellently located just a short walk to downtown Leadville.
We loved the close proximity to town and being able to walk wherever we needed to go, and the view of the mountains was fabulous. Also all of the historic Victorian homes in the neighborhood made it a very nice and interesting setting.
The location is great. The house is beautifully renovated and well equipped with everything. We had a great time
Great property and location. Easy check in. We hope to come back!
We were here for the Leadville Marathon and this place was a great spot for all things Leadville. It was great to be within walking distance of Main Street.
Beautifully remodeled, excellent host. Great stay!
Nice, inviting, clean. We had a pleasant stay. Thank you!
We were there for skiing, and the unit was perfect for that. Rubber mats, hooks and racks right inside the front door for stashing boots and equipment, and a ski drier is provided as well (didn't try, we bring our own). The outside temperature maxed out in the low single digits during our visit, so it was nice to have such a short walk to the nearby coffee shop. There is no central heat so it can get chilly inside, but they provide a large assortment of in-wall electric heaters plus portable space heaters. Once we got the gas fireplace cranked up it was cozy. The great fully-equipped kitchen was overkill for our needs (mostly reheated things in the microwave), but could definitely see cooking full meals there. Nice big smart TV and sound bar with a wall mount that allowed angling toward the table. Had no trouble hooking up our Fire TV stick for streaming.
Good set up. Great location.
2 Blocks from main street and restaurants. Nice small house recently renovated, comfy beds and a big kitchen for a small house. Perfect for two couples.
Perfect little house with all the conveniences and close to town.
The property was great. Great space, nice, and so close to all restaurants and shops. Great location and space. I would highly recommend this property and location.
Very nice stay at this lovely home.
We travel to Leadville often and this is our favorite property!
We had a great time and loved our stay in Leadville. Our only complaint was a neighbor’s dog that literally barked all night long.
Would totally stay there again!
Very clean, quiet location just off the main street. Well furnished house. Reliable wifi. Bedroom windows and exterior door in master bedroom could use blinds as the early morning sun is too bright.
