Stayed Dec 31, 1969A short walk out of Looe but that was a good thing as Looe (and Cornwall in general) was absolutely packed with visitors due to staycationers, whereas usually in mid-September beginning to quieten down. Parking was a bit tricky, although again a real plus having a dedicated parking space and a definite necessity. A steepish ramp and then steps to the front door of Rock Towers; a bit of a drag after a full days walking but not difficult to manage. The apartment itself was excellent with amazing sea views, quiet at night and well appointed with all the mod-cons. Great walk-in shower and with good water pressure so not just a dribble. The beds a bit soft for us, but that's because we're used to a hard mattress. Overall we would thoroughly recommend this holiday property.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Ideally placed for getting to Fowey, Polperro, Plymouth etc. The town of Looe is also a quaint little place where you could simply stay put for the week - plenty of shops, restaurants and a lovely beach, fish and chips, boat trips, proper British seaside - we loved it. The only negatives about this apartment were....the fridge only had a freezer box, it wasn't a fridge freezer, ( I probably failed to realise this from the description of the features of the property) the toaster element had gone, so only toasted one side, the crockery drainer was plastic and could not stand the weight of a dinner plate, it simply tipped up ( we had a near miss) :) The en-suite window had no blind / net curtain and wasn't opaque glass, so the curtain had to be drawn to constantly, causing the light to be switched on throughout usage, the extractor fan in the en suite didn't work and neither did the kitchen extractor fan, there was no tin opener and no milk jug. Rant over ....we loved it overall but we were slightly disappointed at the lack of attention to detail, but it was nice and clean so this helped to outweigh the negatives.

Stayed Jun 21, 2019The property was in a great location. Good parking availability. My only negative comment would be that the balcony was very messy due to seagulls using it as a toilet. More comfortable chairs would also have been beneficial. Towels could have been of better quality and larger.
