Everything about this location exceeded my expectations ! The house was gorgeous, spacious and the perfect setting for our girls getaway. Natalie was so lovely and available to answer any and all questions. If I ever have the opportunity I would love to come back !
Had the most amazing time with friends at this house. Not only was everything beautiful and spacious for our large group, but everything was also in pristine condition. The interior decorations and landscaping were so lovely to be around, and the setting was both relaxing and invigorating. With easy checkin and checkout and great communication on top of all that, Would love to come back!
Britland Manor was a beautiful backdrop for bringing two dozen family members together for a long weekend in August 2021. Thr manor itself was clean and spacious, views were spectacular and downtown Chestertown’s farmers market was perfect. Only complaints were the lack of outdoor furniture. We ended up renting outdoor tables and chairs so we could all sit, eat together to enjoy the outdoors.
I can't say enough wonderful things about this property. It was clean, beautifully maintained and the views were incredible. The house provided everything we needed from sheets/towels to toothbrushs and there was hand sanitizer in every room. Only challenge was the wifi didn't work that great but we didn't need it and just enjoyed the time with our family. Natalie answered all of my questions and was amazing to work with.
The property and property owner are amazing. The bedrooms are welcoming and spacious. There are so many doors you can close off sections for privacy if needed. The house easily accommodated 17 of us. It was amazingly quiet so if someone was sleeping they did not hear all the commotion of a group hanging out downstairs. Natalie was quick to respond to any questions and super helpful. We can’t wait to come back for another reunion!
Perfect for our large group reunion. The setting is gorgeous and the house is large and comfortable. Natalie was responsive and helpful.
We had our daughter ‘s wedding at Brittland. This was our second wedding we celebrated there. The property is magnificent. A stately home sits on an elevated plot of land overlooking its 500 plus acres. The views and photo ops are endless. We had our entire immediate family stay in the manor home along with the bridesmaids. The groom and his groomsmen stayed down at the River Lodge, which is a rustic four bedroom home sitting at the edge of the property on the Chester River. Probably the best recommendation I can give the property is to look at the photographs. The photos of the property are accurate. We had a great time and would highly recommend Brittland.
We had an excellent week long family reunion vacation at Brittland Manor. Natalie was helpful and informative both in the booking process and in directing us as we settled in. The house is more a mansion than a typical vacation rental. There are so many rooms and places to hang out that everyone had fun and a place to be.We were a very large group and still, there were so many rooms, and the outdoors were so beautiful and attractive that no one felt cramped. We enjoyed the sparkling clean pool and fishing in the river. Rusty, the caretaker was cheerful and ever so helpful. The mattresses were so comfortable, there was an endless amount of towels, little toothpastes and shampoos in each bathroom, to name some of the appreciated amenities. We've rented many vacation homes but Brittland Manor was hands down the best choice ever. Thanks!
